Spending the next week cruising the Caribbean with my family. 🚢 ☀️🌴It’s so surreal to think I stood next to this girl less than 13 months ago as she married my brother & today I am half the girl I was that day. I can’t stop reflecting on how much has changed in 2018. I truly saved my life and I want everyone out there who feels stuck like I did to know you can do it too. You CAN❤️
I’m so ready for January to come, the weight-loss will cease for a little bit once we hit mid January, then going on a strength training block. Feeling a bit under the weather so I cooked up a healthier version of fried rice. We have some left over turkey from our Friendsgiving last weekend so I added some of that. The bulk of this is veggies though 😋 I know it’s not vegan, but I’d rather eat the leftover turkey rather than just throw it away. I hate wasting food!
The biggest game changer in my weight loss has been understanding how energy intake works. I used to think counting calories was OBSESSIVE, but once I realised it meant I was in CONTROL, that I didn’t have to completely RESTRICT and DEPRIVE myself and then BINGE later on, I could finally be happy with food!! .
If you’re new to the idea of counting calories, I highly recommend watching some of @jamessmithpt videos on YouTube. They are a really good way to get a basic understudying that you can then build on 💪💪 or you can join his academy which is SO HELPFUL for beginners 💪💪
