Cleaning out my closet and came across one of my favorite dresses I bought while pregnant.. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again strangers didn’t realize I was pregnant because of how big I already was🤦♀️.. the picture on the left is on July of 2017 - my son was born the next day. The pic on the right is today, October of 2018, 15 mons later and wow what a difference 😳😊 so happy and so excited!! I haven’t been very motivated because life has been so crazy and there are not enough hours in the day.. ive been on and off Keto for a couple weeks now 😕 and I don’t really like to say I’m gonna do one thing then do another. I’ve been telling myself I’m gonna stick to it and reach my goal of 175 lbs but for whatever reason i haven’t been as strict as i should be🤷♀️it’s been a battle but i will continue to push until I get to goal. Even if it’s 1 ounce at a time it’ll get done ✅ I have pushed to hard to get here and going back isn’t an option.. you can and will do the same don’t dwell on the bad but think about the good.. know it’ll be hard and painful but it’ll be worth it in the end.. because I’ve been super busy and down doesn’t mean I will let things get out of control. I will keep myself in check and always be accountable for myself, don’t let YOU tell you otherwise because you can too 😊😊 happy #motivationalmondays

These are my ketone and blood glucose readings after my VERY 1st 24 hour fast 👏👏👏.
A 24 hour fast might not seem like much to some people, but for me it’s a big deal.
The longest I’ve ever been able to fast was about 18 hours I think. I usually start feeling weak and hangry and have to give in.
I keep hearing people say you shouldn’t have to force a fast, and I finally understand what that means.
I was going for a normal 16 hour fast today, but when the time came to have my coffee I didn’t feel like I needed it. So I kept pushing it back by 2 hours until I made it to 24 hours 🙌👏.
Also my highest ketone reading yet and I’m definitely feeling it 👌.

Life Lesson➡️Remember why you got started.
I've struggled the last year. I lost my passion for a good workout. I gave up on being healthy. I fell back into nightly binge eating after a few years of following strict diets, limiting my favorite foods or working out 2-3 hours a day to mitigate the binge eating I was trying so hard to hide. I was putting on a face of "look how much fun this is" in order to "find my tribe"
Truth is, I already have a tribe. It may be small but it's called friends. We don't have all the same goals, the same lifestyles or all the same hobbies. We don't have underlying motives. We live in different states now but we all want each other to be happy and that's all that matters.
So I'm slowly working my way backwards. Back to when I loved workouts. When I was getting sweaty just for me. When I'd go out to dinner with friends or buy that piece of cake that was calling my name. No guilt. No shame. No "oh, I shouldn't have eaten that." I don't want health & fitness to entirely consume my life...that backfired...it's just a part of my life but my life will no longer revolve around it.
My goal isn't to be skinny anymore. Or to have a 6 pack. Nor is to fit in with a certain crowd, to sell anything, to look good in a bikini.
My goal is to be healthy, to be confident, to glow from within because I finally accept and love who I am no matter what size or shape I'm in. That's a work in progress but for the first time I finally have a grasp on what the body and self love movement means. This body is mine. My journey is mine and it isn't to fit into anybody else's standards or for the gym, a shake or certain foods to define who I am or my value in the world.
I am me and a healthy, confident me is all that matters.
Keep in mind why you got started...drop a comment if you're comfortable sharing. If you've forgotten, remind yourself. Don't lose yourself for anybody else's gain or dream. You do you and that's good enough. And eat the cake. Life's too short not to.
