Throughout this trip, i’ve had many awakenings in terms of life and it’s sources. I managed to quickly learn that there are more hardships and labour put into the littlest and simplest things we have in our lives. For example, a bowl of rice; i’ve seen acres of rice fields with as little as 2-3 people working on each field. After seeing how hard it is to end up with a bowl of rice, i realised that i took advantage of the life that my parents have given to me. This awakening made me realise that for everything there is more than it seems to the eye. Appreciate what you have and give back to those who need it more than we do. 🍚
So today I want to highlight the topic of power.
Naturally, we are all drawn to wanting power. I mean thats all fine with me, but when you start taking advantage of that, to me that’s where it all goes wrong.
It really is hard to forget to stay humble and always remember how you got to your peak. Don’t forget the struggles and hardship that was fought to achieve your goals. Other people are also feeling the same way you had trying your best to get to where you want. So much has changed for me this month. I’ve become more aware and learned that power doesn’t always gain automatic loyalty. It comes to show that you have to treat others as the same level as yourself. Show that you are no different to everyone else and are working together to achieve the same goal. Start from the base with kindness and let that ripple out itself to everyone. 🌊
