overnight oats have been my JAM recently 💃 I’m always so berry grateful when i prep them! 🍓😊
this post-yoga pre-work bowl was the perfect sweet breakfast to come home to! oats are the perfect blank canvas to mix-in and top with whatever you heart desires that day 💕 I always add protein powder to help keep me fuller for longer, as well as lots of fats like chia seeds, coconut yogurt and nut butter, and some type of fruit for sweetness!
not only are overnight oats so much more convenient than making them in the morning, my friend @lilsipper
taught me that soaking the oats increases the digestibility of the oats since it helps release enzymes that begin breaking down phytic acid! double win!

I was in Stellenbosch today for work and decided to pop in at @buenavistar44
after work for a wine and perhaps a tapas. Well I’ve had many of their dishes but today decided to try their Beuna Mussels tapas. Oh my gosh. It’s mussels with bacon and blue cheese in a white wine, garlic cream and parsley sauce and comes with 2 slices of ciabatta. Swipe left to see how many mussels were actually hidden under all of that deliciousness. Blown away. Would have it again in a second if i weren’t so positively stuffed! At R69 it’s SO worth it.

recipe for her almond butter n’oatmeal and made this last night and stuck it in the fridge. I heated it up with some @califiafarms
almond milk this morning and added some toppings 😋 the recipe is just a bunch of crushed up cashews + almonds along with unsweetened coconut + almond milk + chia seeds + flaxseeds so it’s packed with nutrients 👌🏻 I love having a big breakfast especially after I run 🏃♀️ I topped it with a banana caramelized in @nutiva

- BUON POMERIGGIO😍 PIZZA RIPIENA DI MELANZANA, POMODORINI, PARMIGIANO E BASILICO 🍕🍆🍅🧀🍃
(Per una teglia da 26-28 cm)
1 melanzana grande oppure due piccole, tagliate a dadini, disporre in un colapasta con un po di sale e far riposare per 15 minuti...in una padella con olio q.b far imbiondire uno spicchio d'aglio tritato, versare i dadini di melanzana, cuocere mescolando ogni tanto, a metà cottura, aggiungere circa 100 gr di pomodorini tagliati in 4 parti, sale, basilico q.b, finire la cottura per circa7-8 minuti, spegnere e aggiungere 4 cucchiai di parmigiano..
per l'impasto... in una ciotola versare 250 ml di acqua tiepida, 8 gr di lievito di birra ( oppure un po meno di una bustina di lievito di birra in polvere ), 3 cucchiai di olio extravergine d'oliva, 1/2 cucchiaino di zucchero, mescolare, aggiungere un po alla volta 500 gr di farina0 1 cucchiaino di sale o q.b e impastare fino ad ottenere un impasto morbido, (se risulta molto morbido, aggiungere ancora un po di farina) coprire e far lievitare fino al raddoppio del volume... riprendere l'impasto, dividere in parti uguali, stendere, posizionare nella teglia oleata, farcire con le melanzane, coprire con l'altra metà l'impasto, chiudere bene i bordi, irrorare la superficie con un po di olio, bucherellare con una forchetta, far lievitare per circa 20 e infornare a 180 gradi per 30-40 minuti o a cottura desiderata (io uso forno con modalità ventilato con cottura sotto e sopra)🍕🍆🍅🧀🍃

which was something I would love to share. The bread was baked nicely and had a crisp texture, it had a generous layer of pesto sauce with veggies like onions, tomato, capsicum, corn, and a creamy super satisfying premium cheese. You don't need anything to satisfy your hunger. The taste was good, it had the mild flavor of pesto with the addition of juiciness of all the veggies and creamy texture of cheese, a perfect combination.
