I did last year for two months late summer. Measuring yourself is a better indicator of weight loss. Throw away the scale.

experiment came to a close on Monday by trying to see how my measurements and weight compared by trying to be #NSNG
(No Sugar No Grains) and #lchf
(lowcarb high fat) as much as possible. Even with a few treats/cheats/“LIL” (Life into Living) here and there (because of reality of falling into temptations and/or social events), I still managed to lose .5” in bust, .875” waist, .75” hips, .875” thighs in two months. My weight fluctuated each week of my cycles. I only weighed myself to see a comparison for data points. Didn’t count calories nor macros and pretty much ate until I was full for each meal. Energy levels remained high throughout. Depressive, panic, anxiety episodes have been mild to none. Reframing my mindset about food has been pivotal in this way of eating. It’s really about consuming the right foods and not “calories in, calories out” (CICO). Exercise was at a minimum during this time. Overall, my whole take away is by eating the right foods, healthy body transformation happens even though the scale may not reflect it. But it also takes time and not an overnight process. Yay for autophagy! During this two year journey going NSNG/LCHF/IF has been an eye opening experience and well worth it for me. Physically/mentally feeling great and going strong! 💪
