It’s a good day to have a good day!!
I was going to do my leg workout this morning so I could get some stuff done tonight. As soon as my alarm went off, I started talking myself out of it.
I didn’t sleep great, I was tired, I didn’t want to get out of my cozy bed, it’s cold out, I can just do it tonight...blah blah.... I wasted 30 min arguing with myself & not falling back asleep, so I made the choice to change my mindset and just GO. I got my ass up, I told myself I can do it, that I’ll feel better after, that it won’t be as bad as it was in my head... so I did 20 min on the stairmill, because I didn’t have enough time for the workout I planned on doing (I WILL do it tonight) and now I feel energized and so much better.
so if you’re laying in bed reading this trying to talk yourself out of a workout, or just dreading getting some exercise in, change your mindset.
You are SO lucky to have an able body that you can move.
You will feel so much better if you follow through with what you said you’d do.
Make yourself proud.
You do have the time, you just might have to re-prioritize some things today. You can watch your favorite shows or scroll through social media another day.
Exercise releases endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people don’t kill people 😜
ps... fasted cardio isn’t anything special or magical. sometimes it’s just easier to break up lifting & cardio sessions due to time!
