#FierceAFyogis D4 Q: What are you among creating, birthing, bringing into existence? Or are you a destroying, dissolving or eliminating? What are you? A: I find it's very hard for me to create thing or situations except for when it's necessary. Also, destroying or eliminating, I do when it needs to do only. So I would perceive myself very very much into a type of maintaining or bringing into of what is already existed. I'm the very intertrovert who like to observe. I just what to know, want to learn and want to understand. "It is what it is" - for me, it's very easy to let go. But living in this world of chaos, sometimes we need to be more than one. I want to be a creating, destroying and eliminating sometimes for shaping myself to be new me. For creating a better place in this world to stay (not for one, but for all). πŸ™

I know some people who are pretty rich and have a successful business however they think about themselves as a failure, they are unhappy and negative. That's so sad. On the other hand, I know people who are so educated and have successful academic career, but so unhappy too. That's very sad too. #FierceAFyogis D3 Q: What's your greatest fear? A: Actually I have many fears in life in different timeline. My fears is not related to physical but most is with mental fear. At the moment my biggest fear is I'm afraid that what I am doing will hurt some people who I love. This feeling makes it hard to live the life, hard to make a decision. For living beyond this fear, I try to do what is right for me the most. I've been thinking that no one is living this life, no one feels in every second in this life except myself. And it's part of my practice.

The final and 8th day of #FierceAFyogis to fire start a phenomenal new year with FIERCE devotion to our practice. Today it is #hipopener day ☺️ Q. What’s your present mantra? How are you applying it in your life? A. In one word - let go! But then you’ll say that’s two words πŸ˜… and then I’ll say - yeah so be it, just let go 😝 For far too long, I’ve taken things too seriously, and that has kept me from being myself. Don’t get me wrong, I’m the sincerest of sincere people you’d find, and I say that proudly now but earlier, I think I gave too little credit to myself. I’d been too conscious of what others said or thought about me, trying to negate no one. I tried to conform with norms, but ended up with frustration. When I wanted to do something that others thought I shouldn’t, I wouldn’t do it. But with time, and thank god, that changed. My mantra now is to let myself be what I am, let others be what they wanna be and above all let go of things and thoughts and people, that don’t make you better, or stronger, or happier. After all, money, fame, power all of these things people run behind are means to happiness, at least in their eyes. So let go for being happy, let go for letting someone be happy, let go of your doubts, inhibitions, fears. Let go of those plans you never started working on, coz you need to make new ones. Day 7, a bit late, of #FierceAFyogis to fire start a phenomenal new year with FIERCE devotion to our practice. Today it is #hipopener day ☺️ Q. What aspects of yourself have been hiding in the shadows that now deserve the light of awareness and attention? What value can you offer to yourself and others by opening up to be seen A. Oh this one is my favourite question till now 😘😊 In my past few answers I’ve already spoken a bit about how things have changed for me since I started being more of myself and less of what others would like to see me like. The side of me that has come out screaming and kicking and bursting in the last one year is this person who believes in herself. πŸ’ͺ🀘 I had almost always been a hard working person but have also always been low on confidence with the roots of that problem lying in my belief that I was unlucky and hence my efforts never bore fruit. But in the past year, I shed the fear of changes, of unknown paths, I made big decisions for myself, mostly against popular suggestion, I let myself leap and fall and stand up and leap again and even though I’ve just reached the foothill of what I aim for, I now know I can and I am going to get there. There is this FIERCE force inside of me that has now started to show and I’m loving it 😍😘 I think I was never hiding this part but was unsure myself of it existing. Now that I know, I think my friends can see me as more of a self aware, confident person who knows what she’s up to, who loves herself like she did never before, and who loves people the way they are! The final day of #FierceAFYogis ! An inverted pose of choice. - These forearm stands really get your core muscles going! I'm glad that this will be my second one this week. Figured we did a standing split, why not just flip it upside down? Lol. I'm pretty surprised at how leveled it looks. πŸ˜… - 🌟Q: What is your current mantra? - πŸ…°οΈ: "Day-by-day. Little-by-little." - This has been my mantra for the last few months. Progress takes time. Good habits take time. Returning back to a healthy state takes time. And all of it to be done at MY OWN time. - Sometimes I feel SUPER PRESSURED that I HAVE TO do things a certain way and within a certain time frame in order to be ok or be doing it right, but what works for one person may not work for another. I'm very big on trying to work with my intuition and if it doesn't feel/seem right for me, then I tend to move away from it, but not without learning from it. So if I'm trying something new out in my routines and it doesn't work for me, I still try to learn from it, find a key element within it that works, and remix it into my own practice that is already flowing. It all takes time to figure out. Life is a collection of trials and experiences and we each go through our own share & experience in our own way. - I'm trying to listen to my body and my innerself more often and I'm getting to points where i'm starting to see that the parts I've mixed are finally working out! That makes me very happy. I don't know if you guys saw "Finding Nemo"? 😁 In the movie there's a little blue fish called Dory who's suffers from short-term memory loss and gets into a whole lot of trouble. 🐟😁 But she's always optimistic and kind, and she has a catchphrase that stuck with me for years, β€œJust Keep Swimming”. Whenever I find myself in a situation I don't really want to be in, I just repeat to myself to keep going. And if I'm having the time of my life it serves as a reminder that everything passes and it brings me back into the present moment. I am now living life in a way that I do not put much focus or stress on "what's going to happen next?" I am simply allowing things to be. Of course I have goals, hopes and dreams, but I don't worry about why things happen or when things will happen. I simply accept and trust that life is going to flow the way it should. I released all expectations of people, places, and things in my life and instead am allowing everything to unfold naturally. Last year I learned that I needed to be more loving and nurturing... the side of me that wasn’t expressed as readily. Also, I need to be more open and communicate my feelings. I feel by communicating, I can feel heard and others will know my boundaries. By being more nurturing, I create a softer and more approachable side for others to fall to, should they need a soft place to land. Okay, I apologize for being so tardy to post, but it’s been a tough week so far! And I’ve tried to post this about 5 times now and IG hasn’t let me. Anyway... here’s my warrior variation for day 6 of πŸ’₯ #FierceAFyogis πŸ’₯ I took these after work while waiting for my shuttle. The back drop is gorgeous! I’m sure the people passing were wondering what I was doing, but I didn’t even care. So what do I see when I look in the mirror? It used to be physical and superficial, as I harshly judged my body. Now when I look in the mirror, I see a strong woman, who even though life has tried to beat her down quite a few times more than she would have like, has not become hard or bitter. In fact, I see a more loving and nurturing woman; a woman who loves her family and friends with all of her heart; a woman who has great desires and goals; a woman who will not give up despite what life hands her. I see a woman who has found a greater respect and love for her softer side, but who is tough when push comes to shove. I love what I see beyond the body image. I attended an event last night that provided the answer to these questions. As if I knew when I bought the ticket last September… Clairvoyance? Coincidence? Perhaps synchronicity? I attended Shaun T Transforms America. You must know him. Insanity, T25! @shaunt followed the release of his book with a tour to help people transform and achieve their goals. The mantra from last night is β€œFull Out.” The idea is to commit with purpose and enthusiasm. If you really want to achieve a goal then you have to go for it. That approach works for me. Goals are just dreams without action. And, if you are going to take action then make the most of it. There are times when we tire out and want to give up, but those are the exact times when change happens. It does not matter if it is fitness, asanas, relationships, etc. Give it all you got and go Full Out! . My heartfelt thanks to our hosts for an incredible challenge. Wether we're aware of it or not, we all have sides of our personality that we hide away, sometimes even from ourselves. Like Carl Jung said, β€œUntil you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” I'm the kind of person who has a deep need for harmony in every aspect of my life, but especially when it comes to human relationships. So, in order to keep everything and everyone in harmony, sometimes I'd stay silent, swallow my own opinion and let certain behavior pass when I shouldn't have. That led to me bottling up a ton of anger, and we all know what happens when you bottle up anger. A shitstorm. And everyone gets covered in shit. πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜‚ Now, that certainly isn't a side of me that I like showing. For the longest time I wasn't even aware I was doing it. I was raised very stereotypical; girls are nice, we don't get angry and we certainly never ever express it. So, I had to find a way to express myself, because yes, angry me is a part of me. And it deserves acceptance. I realized that only trough accepting my anger and expressing it in a healthy way can I let go of it. Day 8: Inversion. Here is a work-in-progress handstand!β € β € Q: What is your mantra? how have you been applying it in every day life?β € β € Be myself- because I am enough. I don’t have to spread myself too thin. I’m allowed to fill up my own cup. I can be choosy about who I spend my time with and what I spend my time doing. I can’t please everyone.β € β € I have met people who didn’t like me. There are two ways to respond to that- change yourself so they like you, or let them go. Option 2 is better. Allowing someone that kind of power over you is not ok. β € β € My biggest goal for a while was to be liked by everyone. Not anymore! πŸ˜­πŸ’šToday is the last day of #fierceafyogis we are practicing our #inversion I chose the #headstand this pose is one of my favorites it has helped me build strength in my core and arms to be able to do most of the things I can today in yoga #grateful πŸ™The question to ask ourselves today is: What is your present mantra and how are you applying it to your daily life. πŸ’«A mantra is a saying or phrase that we repeat to ourselves also an aid in meditation to remain concentrated. I have alot of things I say to myself but I think the one that is most beneficial that I notice I use the most is : we are on divine time. Most days I have a certain amount of stuff I want to do and most days I only complete 50% of those things, I am working on giving myself credit for that because those accomplishments are worth acknowledgement. When I have 5 minutes to get to work on time or it's 730 and I wanted to eat dinner by 7 instead of overwhelming myself or getting frustrated I take a breath, put myself in the now and repeat to myself all is well we are on divine time. Knowing that there is no need to rush or worry in any circumstance,that is when accidents happen. It really helps me to not become anxious in situations. This photo was taken at #StandingRock , near the entryway to the encampment. The #Oceti asked us not to take photographs within the camp, so my photos are very limited, but this is one that I did respectfully capture. You can see part of the encampment to the left, and the constant stream of cars and people coming to support the cause, to my right. More interestingly, there were all of these flags from all of the Nations all around the Camp, hundreds of them. People from all over the world came together to help. The day I was there was the #InternationalDayOfPrayer . β€” where all religions and Nations came together to pray. It's ignorance towards my inner voice/self. I never wanted to disrespect anyone,so I kept my truthfulness, vulnerability,opinions to only myself because people appreciated and cherished me more when I appeared to be like them.That felt good to my innocent little self (ego to be precise) to be accepted so I started practicing how to not be myself by suppressing my true essence.Meanwhile in trying to please everyone,I almost forgot who I used to be as kid. . Until recently I'm starting to shift my attention towards what's helping me grow and what drains my energy.And that's how am peeling off and questioning every dominant thought by layers under layers.THIS is what's important to me now.For living a zombie life, controlled by everyone's opinions, has dragged me into hatred and resentment needlessly towards everyone including myself. . What value can you offer to yourself and others by opening up to be seen? 🌟 β€’ 🌌 Since childhood, I have been a loud person...not just the volume of my voice, but I had a big, energetic personality to take in as well. I was unapologetically myself and totally weird. πŸ˜› I always told people exactly what I thought or said things for how they were, which, who knew, many people didn't like. I was always real, raw, and honest. My dad would often tell me to "think before you speak". I could be impatient, stubborn, and short-tempered...a raging fire in moments. πŸ”₯ But I was also extremely friendly, loving, and open-minded. ☺ I was involved in tons of activities and sports, and was even voted "Most Theatrical" in my High School yearbook. I never really wanted or tried to hide who I am.🌟 During my recent spiritual journey, I started to learn how to tone this down...to silence or edit myself a bit. What a lesson for me! 😁 I now know that there are some things that I just can not say or do in the moment. I needed to create boundaries for myself with what I share of myself and with who. I still express a hell of a lot publicly, but I have finally learned to "think before I speak", so I do not share all.
