: Don’t stress
With countless sources of stress we face today, we really need to make an effort to just stop and take care of our mental health. it is not always just the physical health that needs our care and love. It is important to make sure you do not stress and brood over things that really do not require as much of your attention as you are giving. Whether it is your career, education, stuff at home, relationships, or any other sources of stress-inducing thoughts that drain you of your energy, you need to make a conscious effort of channeling all that into something else. Stress causes a lot of problems, clouded judgment, unnecessary reactions(which can be avoided), health issues, weight loss, weight gain, anxiety, pain, the list is countless. Some people stress more than others, and for those who don’t, it might seem odd to have to see them go through that. Try to understand why it happens and help each other out. Certain life events might not be of a huge impact in your life, whereas to the other it can cause outbreaks of stress and anxiety and they really need help. A lot of things do stress me out too, I try to find my peace with it and find ways to calm myself.
One being these stress-busting colouring books. It doesn’t need any artistic skills. With sketch pens or coloring pencils or any drawing pens you like, you can color away all your thoughts. I like to zone out into things that make me happy to divert my mind from the current stress I might be feeling. It’s calming to endlessly color. A way to focus on one thing at the time, which only requires me to take a color and fill in the spaces in any way I like.
