Wow good thing we had our date night last night - holy snow this morning!!❄️❄️ We were going to stay local but when your sitter says she can stay as long as we need her.....😁plans immediately changed and we went to our favorite restaurant @purplecafewoodinville instead! Since Bryan is gone so much, these moments are EVERYTHING to us! 💓 . REAL TALK: Did we have some really good wine? YEP! Did I eat the Brie cheese and some bread? YEP (that is our fav😁) Oh and the chopped salad here is to die for! You may drool after seeing the pics! 🤤 . Here’s the thing since we DON’T DIET...We can and will eat like this and drink wine on occasion. We never feel guilty about these times because it’s all about BALANCE . We both know we have goals laid out but we also want to enjoy our lives. We make a point 90% of the time to eat pretty darn good and we push play for our workouts everyday🏋🏼‍♀️! . Balance is key I think to make any lifestyle last. I know “diets”sometimes help you see instant results but I know I want my results to last ..... for the rest of my life. T h a n k y o u 💕💕💕💕 -------------------------------------------- I am SO grateful to each and every one of you... to some of you 200 may not be much... you may have 1 follower or 1 million but I never thought I'd get 1 so thank you for following my journey 😘 --------------------------------------------I haven't made my goals clear yet... because although I knew that I wanted to loose weight I also want to tone and change my lifestyle without thinking that I'm on a 'diet' because thinking I'm on a diet doesn't work for me... I want this to be a lifestyle change not a fad 🙋 -------------------------------------------- I started my journey at 10 stone 6 lbs( my heaviest) after being poorly and being on steroids- this was my excuse to eat👎 ✖️I'm now 9 stone 4 ✖️ -------------------------------------------- After trial and error I think I'm getting on the right path and I've finally realised what my goals are 💃 1. 8 stone target by April 🎯 2. So happy that we now have a proper studio to film workouts and an office space to work from. 2 years of working from home has been fun but it's time to up the productivity and the quality of what we do at TFG. (too many distractions at home 😂) . It's been an amazing 2 years and we are so proud of what The Fitness Guy has become. I took a gamble when I left my job......no idea of what lay ahead but I knew I wanted to help people on a larger scale. I ENJOYED the holiday season this year, living a comfy 80/20 fit lifestyle. I exercised 5-6 days a week but didn’t challenge myself to do more than maintain. And, I indulged in ALL the holiday food and drinkies! . I was healthy and happy in this day 1 pic! I thought I looked good when I took it, and looking at it today, I still think that!💋 . But I needed a challenge. I needed to relight that fire that had dimmed with the same old routine. And, fine...I was eating way too much sugar 😬😂 . The last time I posted a before and after, someone asked me why my weight fluctuates so much.🤔 I was like...”wait....what?!”✋🏼 I weigh EXACTLY the same in both of these pictures! I am a healthy weight, so I get to eat the maintenance meal plan, watching my body fat go ⬇️while my muscles pop. I am eating MORE FOOD now than I was before starting! Actually, even the weightloss plan ladies are eating more than they were before! . Ladies, what I do for #transformation results is work. But that’s the whole point. I want TRANSFORMATION, and I want it from the inside out. That’s what builds confidence, self-esteem, and self-love. My self-love is not based on the after picture. It’s based on the mental strength I’ve built, day by day, for 30 days now. And I’m just getting started! Can you imagine day 80?! . So, what are you doing for the next 30 days? Are you going to keep looking for a quick fix so you’re where you want to be for a little bit until you need another quick fix? Are you going to keep telling yourself the same b.s. story about how you don’t have the time or the money or the commitment or the motivation or the energy or the blah, blah, blah?! (Trust me...I’m guilty too🙋🏻‍♀️) . Or are you going to finally take freaking action?!!!💪🏼 . There are ladies doing this program that are: ✔️over 70 years old ✔️have 100+ pounds to lose ✔️single moms, working moms, cancer survivors, postpartum moms... Name the excuse, and someone with the same problem or worse is doing this anyways!!!🙌🏻 . So why not you?! I love being a mom and guiding my children to develop a love of learning. Every time they are able to do something for themselves, I have a sense of pride. It is truly the best gift I can offer them. . As a busy mom, I put my own learning on hold. I felt comfortable with my values and thought that would get me by. I don’t like to read and I certainly never imagined reading a “self-help” book. . Then I started coaching, a new endeavor that required me to learn. It excited me. It sparked my creativity. And I found myself searching for book recommendations & listening to podcasts. And what I’m learning not only helps me on my mission to help others find balance in food, fitness and family, I’m learning ways to grow as a person and as a parent.
