I love making dips, appetizers well let's face it Iove to cook and bake anything....so let's just say I love food!!! Food hasn't always been my friend. Food has been my crutch for many years. It's what I turned to when I was sad, upset, angry or happy. It's what brings us all together at events. It's important no matter what you think. There is a big difference though between eating to live and living to eat.
When you have the right mindset and the right support, love and community if people, you can conquer anything.
Sometimes the people you look up to the most will prove to be the most demotivating in your quest. WHAT DRIVES YOU MAY NOT NECESSARILY ENTHUSE SUCH PEOPLE. And when that happens, find your inner strength and move. The burden is yours and yours alone. And the dream your own. Trust God, and he'll bring helpers.

ALL about the lifting today, with 2 quad sets focused on the back and biceps, followed by a burnout round, and finishing with core work.
Love straight lifting days! I kept my weights up today for all but those wide curls, and even though it was hard, it felt good!! It never fails that my forearms get just as much of a workout as the targeted muscles do on these heavier days. Grip strength WILL only get better!
It’s truly crazy..... While reflecting tonight on my workout from this morning might I say at 4:15am. The old me, wouldn’t be able to get this girl out of bed without at least 4 hits on the snooze button. Mornings were such a huge struggle for me never feeling I got enough sleep 😴. And grouchy with the kids. I felt awful! And so unhappy. I had no drive for anything to be honest. I knew I had to do something I was so tired of being the short tempered tired mom.
That’s when I gave an online workout a go but I also knew I needed a further push to stick with it. I DECIDED TO MAKE ONE DECISION that would change my life. it’s become my mission to help other moms live a fulfilled life. Overcome the okaying life and know there is a bigger plan for you but first we must take a step. I want to help YOU develop self confidence and learn what YOU are created to do. To find YOUR purpose and use YOUR life as a LIGHT in someone else’s life.
I’m no professional.... I fail over and over but I get right back up. I’m not PERFECT just ask my husband 😛 but I do know that if woman work together instead of competing with each other, we can do amazing things in life. We can be the strong role model in our families and community. We can raise caring and strong children to help others. We can help find our purpose after our kids have grown and require less of our time. If we are in this together we can do so much. Our team Empowerment is just that. A team of woman, woman wanting more out of life. To be the best version of ourselves to help others see there worth and confidence to help others.
