~ Leslie Gulch (Low) ~
The view from a snakes eye while looking down into the Gulch, true story. You never know what you may run into here...
Leslie Gulch is still one of my favorite locations to visit in Oregon and can’t believe it’s even real.
Where’s your next adventure taking you?

Meet General George Washington as we celebrate his birthday at Valley Forge National Historical Park. This Presidents Day event is a day of family fun that includes children's games and crafts, a Kids Join the Continental Army program (led by George Washington, himself) and of course, birthday cake! To get there, hop SEPTA Bus Route 125 right to the park. #ISEPTAPHILLY

4 years ago TODAY, we nervously arrived at the airport with a couple backpacks and goofy grins on our faces. We had one-way flights to Colombia and no idea what was in store for us. What was supposed to be a 3-month trip has turned into so, SO much more.
To think that our first 4 years of marriage have been spent volunteering on a remote farm in the Ecuadorian Andes, teaching English in South Korea, trekking to Everest Base Camp, working at a ski resort in an amazing mountain town, traveling around the west coast of the US in a campervan WE built… We are just filled with so much gratitude.
We are grateful for the experiences we’ve had along the way and for the people we’ve met (you know who you are!).
But make no mistake, there are days when this lifestyle we’ve chosen isn’t easy. We’ve had to make a lot of sacrifices. But even in the hard times, we both agree that it is WORTH IT and we are proud that we’ve been able to turn our dreams into reality (no matter how big they may be or how large our student loan payments are each month).
If you wanna know exactly what we were feeling when we arrived at that airport 4 years ago today, head to the link in our bio to read our very FIRST blog post. It’s raw and honest and lets you in on just how terrifying it can be to take a leap of faith. The words and feelings still resonate with us today, and I think you’ll be able to relate in some way, even if your “leap” has nothing to do with travel. We all make big decisions during our lives that leave us feeling a little breathless… and it’s comforting to know we’re not alone in these feelings.
What's the biggest LEAP you've taken?

A day with nobody but you and the 🐝s on the trail.
Kicking off my dirty 30 by looking back. This photo was taken at Crater Lake in 2015, one of the freshest lakes you could ever swim in. That water was perfect and pristine, just like that day. Definitely one of my favorite memories, it was one of those moments where you felt truly alive. At the time, I was traveling around the Pacific Northwest on some last minute adventures, trying to soak up all of the amazing places before I left to start my next chapter. Life is wild and beautiful and it never ceases to amaze me. I’ve learned so much, have been so loved, and I feel like I’m only getting started. Not that there has ever really been a dull moment in my life but I’m taking this year, my dirty 30, to really challenge myself. This year I have set some goals to push my limits, celebrate life, and truly appreciate it all, because life is in the moments, especially the ones that put you out of your comfort zone. I’ll try to document it here so you enjoy it with me. Here’s to life headed straight into the water.
