This Spring we have focused on three things: 1️⃣ teaching proper movement in and out of the water. 2️⃣ developing consistency and increasing their level of fitness. 3️⃣ putting everything together and learning how to have fun racing! We believe we are setting up our swimmers to have a great summer of swimming!
In April our focus has been on showing our athletes the value in working hard and seeing the results. We tested them all at the beginning of the month. Each week they have shown improvement both in attitude and overall fitness. Surely when we test them again at the end of May they will see all of their hard work pay off! If you can’t make it fun, then you will lose them and are doing them and the sport a disservice. We want all of our members to swim and stay fit for the rest of their lives. 👍
