My success with Keto didn’t come over night. I remember getting on the scale for several weeks, eating to my macros...doing everything right (so I thought), and the scale didn’t budge. It was so discouraging, however I didn’t quit. I found another way to do things. I changed up my macros and found myself losing again. I had no idea I needed to do that after losing 15 lbs or so. 🤷🏻♀️ If you hit a bump in the road don’t let it cause you to quit...don’t give up!! Giving up will only leave you feeling worse. People who succeed definitely fall...they just get back up. Stop with the excuses and go for your goals. They are attainable!! Oh and guess what??? Tomorrow is Monday...so start again. 😉 .

Proud of the physique I brought to the Canadian Natural National stage. This was the largest Natural Nationals held in Canada. I came 1st🥇🥇 in both Masters and Open Bikini categories. This summer 2018, I came 1st in both of these categories at Open and Natural Nationals! 🏆🏆 Most importantly I know I gave this last show my best performance in all my 15 competitions. There is only so much we can control on the day of the show. In the overall finals the head judge said it was a toss up. Honoured to continuously be ranked and scored top Bikini competitor at both Open and Natural Nationals. @naturalcanadaifbbproqualifier

Bit of a ramble so bear with me. After a full week of workouts, this past Saturday I just wanted to squat. Not train legs. Not workout. I just had a wild tear and wanted weight on my back. When some of your good friends are gonna be at the gym @double_k5 @jl205 @tasha_frazier
it only builds a better environment. I’ve been training with volume and short rests lately for my legs and I felt that I was beginning to weaken in the rack. Tuesday I struggled with 135 for sets of 10. I needed this day. I needed to just be free if only for an hour. I maxed on a lift that started as my weakness years ago and it now sits as my strongest. I’ve never been a strong squatter. I got a late start on leg training in life so I had to be technical. I’ve spent a long time having to learn my body and listen to what it tells me. So when it said to squat I listened. Set of 10 followed by 5 and 3 and a double then a single and I’ve never felt better under the bar as I did this day but I still paid for it in the end. Sitting here eating my fifth meal 3 days later and still have a blown blood vessel in my eye which is a first for me. I guess what I’m trying to say is even if you’re training for a specific purpose, don’t forget to rest, don’t forget that it’s ok to have off days. It’s ok to say screw the routine. You can’t forget to look and see the forest because you’re too stuck on the trees. Do something that you’re freaking passionate about surrounded by people that are also passionate about it. When you let the “because I have to” go and find your “because I want to. If we have talent and the skill but we lack confidence that we can be the Best in the world we eventually fail. Today the secrete is revealed that we have been limiting our selves through our thoughts because when we think negative and believe in negative thoughts of self doubt and these bard thoughts manifest or they come into reality in our lives. We start to perceive our selves as losers or failures and even believe that there is nothing positive we can achieve or meant for us. I recently watched a video of a boy saying what do you practice because what we practice we become really good at. So today continuously tell your self you are unstoppable and believe so and you will be really good at believing in your self and you will do good in everything you do and you will reach your full potential. No one can stop but you. If you fail you will have enthusiasm to attempt again or even more, if you miss an opportunity you will create your own or look for another one, if your ideas are rejected you will go back reevaluate your steps and see why where you can improve. It all commences with a thought of self belief. YOU ARE UNSTOPPABLE!

Lately I have been so hard on myself and felt like the workouts I’ve been doing are getting me no where. So today I decided to step it up a notch. I started off with a 15 minute warm-up cycling. After that I did a 15 minute HIIT workout that I found on youtube - YES, youtube... for free! (i’ll put the link in the comments) HIIT workouts make me sweaty, tired, and sometimes frustrated... but I always finish them feeling like I worked every muscle in my body. I am by no means perfect nor am I where I want to be. I do not workout every single day or eat completely healthy - because college gets in the way A LOT of the time!! It’s okay to have off days, nobody is perfect. But, be able to catch yourself when you’re falling in a slump... know when it is time to kick it in to overdrive and get back on track!! We all need a little motivation sometimes & I hope this helped you today!! Get up and workout... we all gotta start somewhere!!
