To dinner tonight a salmon fillet!! These are two foods I would have never eaten. Yes, I did try them but they tasted to me back then terrible!!!! Now they are so delicious. Call me crazy bit I think my taste buds have changed because my diet changed
But I sure worked up an appetite running errands today with the fam, so this meal is much needed

Here's a 23" fish from a couple days ago that weighed just a nick under eight pounds on the (fake) Boga grips. We lost a dozen fish similar to this on that outing, as 3000-sized gear just really isn't optimal for coaxing bruisers this size out of the structure! Switched to Abu 6600C4s on heavy rods for this morning's trip & had MUCH different results...

This Barramundi with Lemons, Dates, and Toasted Almonds has all those flavors I love. The best part is that it’s cooked in parchment paper, which is actually MUCH easier than cooking on a pan! No sticking to the pan or fishy smell taking over your house.

Salmon has to be my favourite fish to cook and eat 🐟 and than add crispy skin and I’m 🤤 it may seem tricky to get your salmon with golden crunchy skin, but with a few tricks you’ll be on your way to crunchy skin in no time! The biggest key is to pat the salmon dry and make sure your pan is very hot 🔥 To cut through the oiliness of the salmon we paired it with a zingy wasabi lime sauce, garlic and sesame sautéed green beans, and rice topped with spring onions.
