Tired of weight loss posts yet? Well, too bad if you are. I've worked hard for this. It has taken 9 full months to lose 42 lbs. and I've still got 22 lbs to my final goal. Beyond the scale, there's my relationship with food and hatred of my body that I've had to completely change. I've had to learn to stop binge eating as a coping mechanism and talking shit to/about myself constantly. I've also had to learn to listen to my body because I've got chronic sciatic nerve pain and can't just go balls to the wall with exercise and can't give up altogether either.
I don't say all this because I think I'm better than anyone else or feel that weight is a measure of anyone's worth. I'm sharing this because I've worked hard to get to a point where I can say I'm proud of myself. It hasn't been an easy or fast process. I have had to change a lot of habits I've had forever and if I'm not mindful, it would be easy to fall back into the destructive pattern. A lot more than my body has changed the last 9 months, but these pictures illustrate the hard work and determination that goes along with all the internal transformation. #alittlelesstrish #transformationtuesday #42lbsdown #22lbstogo #sparkpeople #fitbit #fitbitcharge2
One last snack to cap my macros tonight - deli turkey, sharp aged cheddar, and grainy mustard. Plus my last 20oz of water! Not all food will be particularly magical, and that’s okay 🖤

I guess I was busy today. Most steps since Nov 5 surgery. I’m almost back.
I've got a few questions lately on my results since doing the 3 Day Plant-based cleanse a month ago. More specifically, how much I've gained back?
Seriously?! The "diet" industry has really messed with us!
I haven't gained it back! If I was going to then why would I have paid for it in the first place 🤷♀️? Left was about 4 days ago and right was after the cleanse.
A major change I noticed after my 3 days was that the bloat was gone!
After a month I was able to maintain that even after introducing sweets and less strict food choices. Hello, Thanksgiving. Plus I enjoy balance in life.
There ya have it! No weight gain and maintaining my results.
