S U N S H I N E 🌞🏃🏽‍♀️ . Relaxing in the sun after my workout this morning. 4K run in the park 🏃🏽‍♀️ 5k cycle in the gym 🚴🏽‍♀️ Dead lifts and squats 🏋🏽‍♀️ . Had a very lazy two weeks because of my birthday then a busy week at work. Today was the first day I did a work out or run since two weeks ago. . Loved getting back into it and being on plan. I feel so much better on the days I am on plan and exercising! . Don’t give up if you fall of the wagon, just get back on with it and fix your mistakes. If you fall off the wagon for a few weeks you will be able to lose the weight quickly and continue with your journey. . Pick yourself back up and get on with you goals and journey 💗

Illness and depression stole my joy and I found myself comfort eating and I packed on the pounds. It’s taken me a long to get to where I am and currently I’m a just about comfortable size 10. I’ve been going to the gym relatively consistently this week but I have been too lazy to post. Today, I looked in the mirror and wasn’t very kind to myself. It’s time to change that.

What’s for lunch ??? 🥗🍴 Today’s salad is my own version of a healthier Cesar Salad. With chopped kale , Brussel sprouts , radicchio , Asian cheese 🧀 diced green apple 🍏 avocado 🥑 onions and homemade croutons. And only a spoonful of Greek light dressing. You use less dressing when you add a spoonful to the bowl and mix your salad super good so each piece is covered with a bit O dressing ☺️ yumminess on 💯
Motivational Monday Reminder 💯 My Why = if I didn’t have pictures to prove it , I myself would have a hard time remembering what it was like to be 400 pounds. But then it only takes a second to remember how unhappy I was, how hard it was to walk a flight of steps, how I couldn’t catch my breath playing with my children. The amount of pain that obesity causes isn’t just physical it’s also mental. I was ashamed, embarrassed and downright humiliated of what I had allowed myself to become. It’s taking me approximately two years to lose 122 pounds thus far . I’ve fallen off the wagon more times than I can count . I spent years always making an excuse of why I couldn’t lose the weight. I used to tell myself that it just wasn’t a goal that I was ever going to reach and that it would be easier just to get used to being obese. And then one day I said fuck this and fuck that noise. !!!!! I’m no longer going to be ruled by my weight. Has this journey been easy ? Hell no !!!! It’s something I have to work hard at every single day, from how I wake up in the morning to what I put in my mouth . the attitude and the desire to want to keep pushing and going for My goals . In the reminders of how far I’ve come to inspire and push me to keep going forward. We are our own worst critics and every way, but if we work hard enough we can also become our own very best friend. My journey continues because I make it continue. Would you like to join me?
