I spend a lot of time these days analyzing my movements. I try to solve my lack of squat deepth. A few people has helped me with this part. I’m strong but not enough in my bottom position. So I need to do more core work and my ankle mobility is also an issue so it’s a mix between these to things that makes it really difficult for me. If you saw what I ate last night for my one meal a day fast breaker you saw what I did; I had a little impromptu very small mini carb up-lazy keto. Why was it called a mini carb up? Because it was at best 180 gms carbs where my typical carb ups are 800 grams. And my caloric intake for the day didn't even go above maintenance . After last week's cheat weekend #trinchortreat believe it or not I've continued to drop body fat and had no damage or spillover from the cheat . I was also feeling a little flat and extra lean so you really have to listen to your body and my body was telling me it's time to get in a little fun sugar and it definitely paid off this morning . So my diet is on point and in check so I figured I deserved a little something something last night . I woke up this morning feeling pretty damn good so I decided to go to the gym. (Other than the gas - my poor wife). Felt lean and hard and my tan from laying out by the pool yesterday definitely was on point . Zum #Abendessen haben wir uns gerade dieses leckere Ü überbackene Hähnchen mit Gemüse und #Gnocchi schmecken lassen. 😋 #Rezept für 4 Portionen: 4 Hähnchenbrustfilets waschen, salzen und pfeffern. Im @mulex.gmbh #Kontaktgrill geschlossen auf Stufe 4 kurz scharf anbraten (alternativ in der Pfanne in Tl Rapsöl von beiden Seiten scharf anbraten). 1 mittelgroße Zucchini, 1 gelbe Paprika, 160g braune Champignons klein schneiden. Das Gemüse in eine Auflaufform geben und das angebratene Hähnchen darauf platzieren. 400g passierte Tomaten mit 200g Kräuterquark light, 2 Eßl Tomatenmark, 1 gepressten Knoblauchzehe, Salz, Pfeffer, scharfem Paprika und italienischen Kräutern vermischen. Das Hähnchen-Gemüse Gemisch damit bedecken. 200g Gratinkäse light darauf verteilen. Im vorgeheizten Backofen bei 200 Grad Ober und Unterhitze ca. 30min backen. 😍 Super schnell zubereitet und echt lecker. Bei uns gab es dazu Gnocchi. Making me feel utterly disgusted with people in general and knowingly with that, posting on social media real events in my life I knew at some point that’d come with some disrespectful comments. But, this time it was face to face. I do realize I AM NOT WHO I WAS WHEN I WAS COMPETING and of all people to bash me, I bash myself by the minute due to my appearance. I won’t let a dirty mirror get me down 😜 - I’m coming up on my last week here in the Twin Cities and I’m just so grateful I had this opportunity to spend the summer here. Mike and I have always talked about spending my entire summers together and this year we were able to make it happen! ✅ How To Foam Roll Upper Body--Part II. Hit 'Save' & Try It Next Time! You'll Get addicted, I promise. 🙂 . . . *Remember: Mobility+Faster Recovery=More Gains - Do you foam roll your legs and glutes? What about your upper body? It seems like everyone likes to focus on their lower body, but when it comes to their upper body, they hit their upper back and that's about it. Newsflash—your upper body has muscles that should be rolled. - The purpose of foam rolling is to break up the fascia and adhesions in your muscles that come from being active. Foam rolling is terrific for decreasing post-workout muscle soreness and allowing the body to heal properly. The proper method is to roll on the foam roller until you find a tender spot, which will feel like a bruise. Once you find the tender spot, hold constant pressure for 20 to 30 seconds. Holding the constant pressure breaks up the trigger points or adhesions within the muscle. After holding the pressure, slowly roll through the muscle to work on the fascia. - Once you break up the adhesions, the muscle will be more pliable, and it will be more therapeutic to work on the fascia, as well. Foam rolling has become popular in the athletic community, but it is used strictly on the lower body. By working out, you create micro-tears in your muscles. Your body heals these tears, and the muscle grows bigger. However, if you stress the muscle too much, your body creates adhesions and muscle spasms that need to be broken up to allow proper healing. This process can happen in any muscle in your body. You need to foam roll after every workout. The aim of metabolic conditioning is to improve fitness, power endurance and the the body's ability to utilise different substrates (energy sources). For it to be effective your session should include continuous work through a mix of resistance and cardiovascular exercises to achieve an average heart rate of 150bpm. It is also a really efficient way to burn fat by almost depleting glycogen stores which makes the body go into beta oxidation (the burning of fat for energy). Rather than walking on the treadmill for an hour.
