It has been over 4-5 months since I’ve even had two days in arrow of lifting.
•Maintenance of good and bad foods with cardio 2-3 days a week has done wonders.
I use to be afraid of taking “OFF” days..
Now I’m seeing those lead to “TAKING🚀OFF! Days! 💪🏾”
Rest isn’t needed.

I woke up this morning and felt very demotivated.
I got dressed and set off to @f45_training_cranbourne
My head was just not in it, so I focused on my love of Foxtrot to push through. •
A combination of not being focused and being frustrated with my knee (in recovery), I managed to hurt myself again. Luckily it was only pain for pushing too much. •

for talking some sense into me and reminding me it’s ok to slow down and learn where my limitations are.
I got home and decided to refocus, so I took some photos to compare to my last challenge ones (before taking 3 months off)
The pics are 2 1/2 months apart. I’m not sure how I feel about them but I have a renewed focus and determination to achieve my results in the right way. •

Very Berry Smoothie after an amazing yoga class at @theyogaroots
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop vanilla protein
1/2 cup blueberries
1/4 cup spinach
4 ice cubes ***blend in nutribullet & drink plenty of water!
Monday’s workout was a tough one 😵😵😵 5X5 back box squats
3X8 front squats
3X10 box jumps
3X12 overhead walking lunges
12 minute AMRAP:
10 burpee box jump over
10 KB swing
10 ball slam
10 dumbell snatches
A great strength & HIIT workout 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 Most important thing on any of these exercises.... TECHNIQUE! I won’t add any weight to any of these moves until I’m hitting
⭐️full range/depth ⭐️proper technique
⭐️good control with an empty bar/current weight before moving on
Here’s the weight I walk around at. I’m not cutting any weight. Just maintaining. I walk around at an easy weight so the cut isn’t too bad. During the week of weigh ins and fight week, there is no struggle, no stress, no dehydration, no lack of nutrients. I walk around comfortably only a few lbs over my competing weight. #glorytogod
