dinner tonight was buffalo chicken tacos 🌮 with fresh salsa & guac 🥑 Sean got to add shredded cheese and sour cream but ❌ no dairy ❌ for me , which has surprisingly been going ok. I’ve been trying to keep it to only my cheat meal but I’ve had a little dairy here and there 🤷🏼♀️ not the end of the world, I’ve definitely been consuming a LOT less dairy than before 🧀
this week’s lunch: zoodles with Newman’s own organic marinara sauce & turkey meatballs 🍝 delicious and coming in at only 350 calories 👌🏻
Woo! Your girl is officially down 3.8 lbs from last Monday 💪🏻 I did dip down to 257 during the week but I wanted to weigh in on the same day as last week! May switch to Wednesday weigh ins since there tends to be some weekend fluff left over on Monday morning 😂 we’ll see 🤷🏼♀️ overall still super proud and ready to kick this week’s ass 👌🏻
today was a busy today filled with decorating our house for Christmas 🎅🏻 we realized yesterday after putting our tree in the stand that it was a little..crooked 🤷🏼♀️🎄 it hasn’t fallen down yet though so I guess we’re lucky 😂

happy Friday ✨ Friday is kickboxing day at the max and definitely my favorite day so far 🥊 I used to go to a kickboxing gym in college and I LOVED it. There’s just something about beating the crap out of an inanimate object 😂 afterwards I started my morning with the usual egg white avocado toast 🥑 I am definitely someone who has no problem eating the same thing every day so sorry not sorry if that makes some of my posts boring 😂🤷🏼♀️ today is our holiday luncheon at work and I’m feeling motivated to keep my meal under control even though we go to the BEST Italian restaurant ever 🤤 almost time for the weekend!!!

today. I am a HUGE encourager of modification in fitness for a multitude of reasons. You might have just come back to fitness, you might be more challenged due to physical ability or an injury to begin with, it might just be an off day... but modifying allows you to get it done and so that’s what comes to MY mind as I read this. Shaun says that even if you did one push up that you didn’t or couldn’t do yesterday... that is a success. I say, Hell Yes it is!! Progress simply means moving forward while pushing yourself not to give up. Don’t give up on yourself just because it looks different than you thought it should. It will be hard, because growth and improvement just are. And for gosh sakes... give yourself some credit for showing up in your own life!!
tonight’s dinner: chicken parm (minus the parm for me 😭) over spaghetti squash! The nutrition guide for my ten week challenge recommends cutting out all dairy 🥛 even though cheese 🧀 is my lifeblood I figured I would give it a shot! I do feel gross sometimes after eating too much cheese or ice cream so I’m hoping this will pay off 😂 I lightly breaded the chicken with one egg, plain bread crumbs, and some spices then threw it in a pan with some PAM spray. I usually cook the spaghetti squash at 400F for 45 min. It came out soooo good this time 😊 hope everyone had a great Monday! Tomorrow is arm day 💪🏻
lunch today! Last night I made zoodles with skinless rotisserie chicken, asparagus, sundried tomatoes, and pesto! I’m really trying to up my veggie game, especially since I discovered that asparagus was so ~delicious~ last week 😂 also picked up some clementines at the store for a healthy snack 👌🏻

I remember how truly self-destructing I was to myself for years because I truly didn’t believe I could succeed.
I thought “what’s the point in trying because I’ll just mess up”
“Why would I even do that, I’ll never look like ______”
I would never take any risks because I thought someone would get mad, I would get hurt, I would embarrass myself or I would just waste my time and money.
What did this get me?
I spent years of my life, feeling ugly, not worthy, being taken advantage of by people, spending money on things that didn’t bring value to me because I thought I had to impress others but never impressed myself, and just being “stuck”
Then 2016 rolled around and I decided to choose me. I chose personal development over being screwed over, taken advantage of, and being sad.
I hired a coach to help me build my body to choose the risk of competing in the future (even though I could fail)
I decided I was going to leave school to take my own route.
I backpacked Nova Scotia by myself.
I chose to believe in myself and believe there was a way. I become happier; became confident, saw change, saw results.
Oh wow where do I start!?
Took my CPT Cert, failed part of it then passed it and was officially a Personal Trainer.
Started my own Biz at age 19 to pursue my dreams.
Hired 2 business coaches,
Paid $1k and studied to become @precisionnutrition
Certified. Achieved it.
Set my show date for Competing in 2019 (still shitting my pants about this one)
Partnering with a Luxury Hair Company to help woman become their own #hairgoals
like I achieved myself with these products.
I have never been more happy, proud, excited, confident and free in my entire life all because I jumped, I leaped, I believed in myself.
And believe me, I am not one to have a bunch of money, I took a lot of risks. I was as poor as you are my love. But I found a way because I believed I could.
It’s your life and you decide, and that’s all I did. I decided I could.

Today was not a great day eating-wise ☹️ however, instead of sitting on the couch and moping about it, I decided to go walk the boardwalk with my favorite pup Guinness 🐶 it was a bit chilly, but we got our steps in and were able to undo some of the damage from today. Oh well, can’t win em all 🤷🏼♀️ tomorrow will be a better day 👌🏻

sometimes you just gotta make Red Robin fit into your daily calories 🤷🏼♀️ my work friends took me out to lunch to celebrate my engagement. I had a pretty small breakfast to prep for this feast and we are having spaghetti squash for dinner so I wasn’t too worried, but I opted for the taco tavern double wedgie style 🤓 I also chose to skip the “bottomless” portion of their bottomless fries and only have one serving. The whole meal was close to 800 calories, but being mentally and physically prepared to work this into my daily food allowed me to be guilt-free 🍔

today is the first time I’ve accurately entered ALL of my calories for the day and been under my limit. There were days where I’d start entering, but get discouraged when I knew I was eating too much and just stop for the day. There were days where I’d guess how many calories were in an item because I didn’t feel like measuring everything out or was feeling lazy. Today is the first day in 92 days I can confidently say I ate at a deficit - and it’s definitely because of #mealprepping
. Sunday morning I measured out every single ingredient for my breakfast burritos, weighed my snacks instead of just guessing how many oz. they were, and even left a little wiggle room. I was able to avoid what would’ve been major hiccups in my day - like the giant jar of starburst sitting in the staff room - because I knew exactly how many calories I was already putting in my body. And I was never hungry. Listening to your body and making smart choices can be so damn hard, but the thought of weighing 253 lbs in 5 weeks blows my mind. We can do this.

another saturday & another great yoga class 🧘🏼♀️ I am really enjoying getting back into yoga. After class I also got to ask my two nieces and nephew to be my flower girls and ring bearer 💍 they were more than happy to accept 😊 tonight we are going to the local Christmas tree lighting 🎄 hope everyone has a great weekend!

purchase today 💪🏻 I signed up for a 10 week challenge beginning January 3! It includes small group classes, nutritional counseling, and coaching over the 10 weeks. This is definitely something that I think help jumpstart the new year for me, especially since it’s so expensive..that’s motivation enough for me to go 😂💸 it’s actually $200 off for Black Friday so not that bad of a deal 🤷🏼♀️
