I remember I used to think people at the gym wouldn't consider me a serious gym gal (even though I go almost daily), just because I wasn't super skinny. Someone told me off for even thinking that. And you know what I realized? The girls I personally most respected at the gym were often similar size to me. They focused on body parts rather than do-it-all kind of workouts, knew their forms, and pushed themselves. Strong, curvy and honestly their confidence was attractive. It brushed off on me big time and for the first time, I wore mid rise bottoms with a crop top. Dare I say my stomach show? And no high waist to slim me down? And I actually felt confident?! Oh and then I ordered a second pair of shorts to parade around in soon.
It's one thing to feel confident in a bikini at the beach where no one knows you. But at the gym amongst some of the fittest people that you see often is a totally different kind of confidence.
I can’t say for certain that I’ve been depressed. . . but I’ve been battling the doubter in me. For the past couple weeks I’ve been struggling to get off the couch and workout, eat healthy foods, and do anything worthwhile. I’ve decided that enough is enough. The only way I can get out of this is by forcing myself to do it. So today I looked up a class at @lvacgram
and forced myself out of my comfort zone and did it. It was Dancefit which if you swipe, you’ll see what it was about. It was tough, but I didn’t give up. 1. shed fat fast

5. You can improve your endurance
Sprinting has been shown to help with long-distance running. "Working at maximum capacity will build your oxygen uptake and increase the time it takes for fatigue to set in" says Lewis.
