P O S T WORKOUT F U E L 👏 I've learned that what you put in your body after your workout is just as important as your actual workout.
Spending an hour at the gym and then stuffing your face with pizza directly after... turns out doesnt work🤷🏼♀️🤣 (so they say).
Now I turn to a fruit and my chocolatey muscle recovery 🍓🍫 taste delish and fights those Muscle soreness.

Day two back at the gym and I really almost vomited this time... 🤢 1,600+ meters of rowing will do that though.
6 weeks into grad school & I’m finally finding my rhythm 🙈
I’m literally loving every second of living in SoCal & going to USC. But my life is definitely missing some balance and structure.
Been amping up my workouts & focusing on my overall health (mental & physical). I’ve loved the results this far & feel like an overall happier, better Samantha😻

Here’s a little preview of my Total Body Cardio workout at the crib this morning!
As you guys know I finished my 8 week sculpting program about 2 weeks ago! Since then I’ve done some Yoga but mostly relaxed and ate my favorite foods😝 so I have a little food baby to get rid of!
My fit tribe and I kicked off my 12 week Total Transformation Challenge today and it felt damn good to get up and get this quick but beasty workout in before diving into my biz this morning.
The workouts are 30 minutes and under. All can be done at home with little to no equipment or you can take them to the gym with you. You can lose up to 15 lbs in your first 21 days ALONE!

Well that was my first heavy bag class in a VERY long time and I didn’t vomit so that’s positive.

STOP CARING ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE’S OPINIONS ❌
When I first started working out, a lot of people were judging me. Some were saying ‘wow, do you have time for that?’. I would always answer with ‘well, I make time for it. If I am not working out, I am sleeping all the time because I don’t have any energy. That’s why I am actually gaining time when working out.’. I felt the need to explain myself because then, people would maybe understand. Most of them still didn’t. I think they didn’t even try.
The same thing happened but with different things. When I was eating a piece of cake with family, some of my family members were saying ‘can you eat that? That is cheating, right?’. I didn’t even try to explain myself in that moment because I knew they were just saying it to laugh at me.
When I first started following meal plans, my boyfriend was not happy about it. I couldn’t eat what he was eating and he thought I was being ridiculous.
I can’t say that I didn’t care about what all these people were saying but what I can say, is that I never stopped because of it. I knew the reasons why I was doing it and other’s opinions wouldn’t stop me from reaching my goals. I kept pushing through and I knew that it would all be worth it in the end.
I am so happy I didn’t stop because now, people are not laughing anymore. A lot of them are admiring me for what I do. Some people even ask me to help them. My boyfriend is now eating healthy with me, my brothers are asking me for help, my mom is jealous of all the healthy things I am baking and she always want to taste what I made…
Moral of the story: don’t ever let opinions of others bring you down or stop you from doing what you want. You are doing this for you and nobody can stop you.
