Let me tell you about dressing rooms Oman’s their bad lighting.
They purposely make the dressing rooms dark and dingy so you can’t really see how you look.
And the mirrors are never angled right - you can’t telk but trust me i watched the mirrors get installed at a job i had in high school and the installer told me the method behind how they install the mirrors - basically you end up thinking you need a bigger size because you looks bigger then you really are.
I wanted that bathing suit SO bad but everything about trying it on in that nasty dressing room made me think it wasn’t for me. A whole later and i still regret not buying it.
Not because i actually care about the bathing suit. But because i didn’t have enough confidence in myself to just get what made me happy regardless of what the mirror portrayed.
Since then if i want it i buy it and i hardly ever try anthying on until i get home.
Do yourself a favor and loose self doubt. Be happy with the image in the mirror even if you’re still working on it!
Sometimes when I’m in the middle of my workouts I just imagine how awesome my body will feel when I’m done and that’s tricks my mind and then I just push harder 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
"I just don't have the time"
Truthfully, I don't. I mean seriously who does??? Whether you work or are a stay at home mom, you are always busy. When will there be time, right?!?! Moms I hear you and I feel ya. I got tired of waiting around for it so I made it happen. It is amazing the smallest changes in your day can create such a powerful impact. Do you have time to watch your favorite show...watch it while doing the dishes or folding clothes. Get up a half an hour earlier to get a workout in. Can't get up, then stay up just a smidge bit later. Meal prep on Sundays to have breakfast and lunches done for the week. If I don't have the energy, I have no problem drinking my pre-workout (hehe my "Ric Flair get shit done") to get even housework rolling. If you want something bad enough, make it happen. Trust me, you have it in you. Stop waiting around thinking tomorrow will be different. Block out a half hour out of your day to do something that makes you feel good. There is no better time than now. 😘
I know! I hear you!!!! I love my fruits but struggle to enjoy my veggies!!! But isn’t it cool how fast the body starts to work for you!!! It’s starts immediately when you eat !!! You’re body starts breaking down and digesting your food the minute you take a bite!
Making better food choices may take time for you, it’s so hard to do it all at once! A happier gut, clearer skin, increased energy all start with what we eat!!! What kind of changes do you need to start making for better health?
I always suggest one way to get more veggies is remember that little part of the plate you save for veggies? Well make that little part your carbs and starches and increase your veggies to about half the plate! You can work up to it or start with one plate a day. 😄

Do you have a shoulder injury?🙋🏼♀️ Your rotator cuff is made up of 4 muscles (I won’t bore you with the names)😏 These muscles are small, yet a great amount of work is demanded from them. Training your rotator cuff muscles can help prevent injuries and fix muscular imbalances

Healthy joints are one of those things people just don’t fully appreciate until they’re gone.
Here’s two exercises to help prevent shoulder injuries. Do 3 sets of 10-12 of cable internal and external rotation on both arms 1-2x per week. -
Notes:💥Set the pulley until it's even with your elbow.💥Form trumps weight, so leave your ego at the door.💥Keep your chest up, abs tight and try to keep your elbow glued to your side through the entire movement.💥You can also do these exercises with a band or a dumbbell. - 👖 by @missfit_squad
