It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve...” While this can be taken different ways- I look at it as we have a choice every morning when we get up. To tackle the day no matter how challenging, or to let it tackle us. And some mornings are tough and just plain suck. It’s tough to wake up early and exercise sometimes. It’s tough to eat healthy when it’s so tempting not to. It’s tough to be positive when it’s been a frustrating day, etc... Anyone who tells you it’s not is lying. I think what separates people goes beyond motivation. It’s just taking action and doing it anyway, even if you don’t feel very motivated. Because you just know it’s what you need to do, and understanding that your future self at the end of the day, week, month, or year will thank you for staying disciplined. If you feel like you are having to find motivation then you are already losing the game. As much as it might suck...it actually doesn’t take motivation to take action. So just do it.💪

Most people who are extremely healthy and still gaining get so upset. In reality it is such a good thing to be gaining when you live healthy and fit. It means you are gaining muscle and staying on track with you fitness growth!🏋🏼♀️

I ate my weight in junk food this weekend. Pizza. Curry. Ice cream. Pancakes. WTF! 🤷🏻♀️ Not only did I gain a few lbs but I also had ZERO energy and felt like shit which is why I rarely do that!
I set my intention last night. I meal prepped. Set my alarms for this morning. Knocked out a quick 30 minute total body cardio workout. It’s never too late to hit the reset button. Let go of the crappy choices and get back to it! 💪🏼

Give this stretch a go, grab a mobility stick, broom handle or anything long enough and strong enough.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Get into a long lunge position and with your hands up over your head grab the stick and push it into the wall. Feel it pull through shoulders/chest and abs. Finally squeeze the glutes and feel it hit through the hips and quads.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
