What does healthy mean to you?
In my opinion, healthy isn’t just a number on a scale, a six pack, looking skinny/ super ripped, exercising for hours on end. ➕Health is #BALANCE
I post a lot of workout videos but, it’s important to me to prioritize these 3 things to keep myself feeling healthy, strong and focused.
✖️✖️ 1. EAT GOOD FOOD (most of the time)
To be honest, I’m not always good at this. I eat shitty some times, but I know when I start to feel tired, or irritable or just out of wack, it’s time to start putting better food in my body. The more you fuel your body with good foods with the vitamins and nutrients it needs to function and stop filling your self up with empty calories and with foods that do absolutely nothing for your health *processed foods* the better your body will regulate it self.
2. MOVE MORE
Find ways to be more active during your day. Whether it be in a gym, walking around your block a few times in the morning before work or after work, or just standing more often at your work space. Look for opportunities to sit less and move more.
3. CLEAR YOUR HEAD
Take time to your self to sit and breathe, clear your mind and focus your thoughts and intentions. It only takes 5 minutes to reset and start with a clean slate when things start to get a little heavy. I use the @simplehabitapp
when I need to refocus and get back on track 💪🏾.
