Healthy and FIT! Every other time I’ve tried to lose weight, it was with diet only. This is the first time I’ve actually tried getting in shape while losing. Growing up, I was athletic. I played soccer all through elementary and junior high. Because my high school was so small, we didn’t have a girls soccer team, so I stopped being active and that’s when the weight started coming on. Seeing progress with my strength and knowing how far I’ve come since I first started is part of what keeps me going. When my mom was preparing to visit last week, I told her that I was planning a 5-day yoga challenge for us. I’m not sure if she knew at the time what she was getting herself into 😂, but as we completed our last workout today, we both commented on how much better / more flexible / stronger we felt. For me, it was a good time to slow down my workout pace and get in tune with my body. For my mom, it was a good time to get back into yoga after recovering from surgery. ЯКІ ЗВИЧКИ СИЛЬНО ШКОДЯТЬ ВОЛОССЮ .😍 1.Миття голови гарячою водою Багато людей від гарячого душу отримують насолоду, а ось волосся не слід мити гарячою водою, вона робить волосся крихким. Краще мити теплою водою, а потім споліскувати прохолодною. Гаряча вода змиває з волосся натуральні масла, що також сприяє випадінню волосся💛 😘😘😘 .2.Неправильне розчісування. Ви повинні пам'ятати що волосся найбільш схильне до пошкодження в мокрому стані. Тому не потрібно його агресивно розчісувати поки воно не висохне. Через це коріння слабшає і виникає випадіння. Агресивна сушка феном теж шкідлива вона послаблює волосся. Краще хай висохне натуральним способом. 💙💙💙 3.Жорсткі зачіски  Африканські косички, дреди і тому подібні варіанти зачісок все ще неймовірно модні, однак вони небезпечні для коренів волосся. Тому краще уникати тому подібного і не стягувати волосся занадто туго. (У мене зараз заплетені африканські косички, но при коренях я не сильно волосся стягувала, тому і вам рекомендую так робити). 💜💜💜 4.Надмірне використання продуктів для стайлінгу. Всі муси, лаки та спреї дозволяють зробити зачіску красивою, але вони не корисні для волосся. Тим більше, коли ви використовуєте гребінець відразу після застосування даних продуктів – тут ризик пошкодження волосся максимальний. 💝💝💝 5.Дієти  Відмова від сніданків або вечерь, напружений робочий графік і просто спроби схуднути – все це змушує людину харчуватися рідше, що йде на шкоду волоссю. А йому потрібна велика кількість білків, оскільки саме по собі волосся зроблене з білків. Тому риба, квасоля, яйця і тому подібні продукти обов'язково повинні бути частиною щоденного раціону. (Щодо першого пункту в пості там де я писала факти про себе, то так це дійсно правда я харчуюся 2 рази в день і бувають такі дні що я зовсім нічого не їм, це доволі часто. І все не для того щоб схуднути, у мене просто немає апетиту. Звичайно це погано но я нічого не можу з цим поробити.)💋

Alright y’all, who has read this?!?!I took the plunge. Since having my third baby last year I made myself a promise to do a few more things for myself, to improve upon ME! If your cup isn’t full, how do you pour into your family and others. So I made myself a “Bucket List” (I know sounds weird at the age of 35,right?) but hey you only live once. I started with eating clean, my fitness journey and now onto reading (which I’ve never enjoyed because well I’m ADD and ADHD) and I fall asleep, unless well it’s “50 shades of Grey” and you all know you couldn’t put that down. LOL!! So we are heading out on vacation and can’t wait to read @msrachelhollis , Girl, wash your face!! So many of my girlfriends have said “Go get it”, “You won’t regret it”, “It’s so incredibly awesome”. So I took the peer pressure, lol, and bought it. Can’t wait to dive in! SOCK WORK ✖️Put your socks on, find a slippery surface and slide into the weekend! - There are tons of exercises to try using socks (which basically replace gliders or sliding disks) a lot focus on intense ab work such as plank Jax, Mountain Climbers, sliding pike etc but I’m obviously avoiding all exercises that are advanced and put strain on my belly. Take things slow and remember to push through the heels, exhale on the effort and keep your core switched on. You’ll target your legs, inner thighs and glutes. Rep range is optional, go until you feel it. Enjoy! ✅ - NB: I would not recommend these exercises if you are new to working out during pregnancy, stick with trainers! 🤜🏼FIT TIPS... The WARM UP is one of if not the most important aspect to a workout. My warm ups may not be what you would expect, but over the years and through experiencing various styles of fitness, I have found that a mobility warm up sets me up for success 99.9% of the time. Yes, some days I do like to start out with a rope jump or Row, but it all depends on how my body is feeling and what intensity I need to be ready to jump into following the warm up.

Jungle flows in Tulum 🌴 Traveling is always a full on experience - the fun part usually comes after hours of sitting squished in an airplane seat or car, (or both, if you’re flying to Tulum 😻) - So getting to stretch my legs and decompress a little bit always feel so good. This flow has some of the movements I find myself consistently coming back to - all the hip, hamstring, and heart opening - with some inversions to keep it fun. - What are your favorite movements to practice after a long day or lots of travel? - This shady spot at the @sanaratulum shala had the nicest ocean breeze too. #flashbackfriday Every time I go to a beach, I run and jump to get a cute shot with one of my kids in the air. The one on the left popped up on my memories today on Facebook from 2014 at Possum Kingdom Lake. The one on the right was taken in Galveston a week ago. I remember that bathing suit being the smallest size they had because I weighed around 115-117 pounds. My bathing suit on the right is a small top and medium / large bottoms. I weigh around 125. I really think that my body looks more toned in my current picture than when I weighed less. ⭐ FLASHBACK FRIDAY⭐ . I found out I was pregnant just a couple of days after I took this picture. I was so proud of the physique that I had reached for and was pursuing each day. Doing my first show seemed more and more real 👙 . When I found out I was pregnant 🤰🏼I was a little sad that I would not be able to compete in my first show like I had planned but I knew there was a whole other journey ahead of me. . Now that my sweet boy 💙 is here, I still want to pursue the next step in my fitness career and do a show. But my main objective it to prove to the other mom's out there that you CAN do it! . I am living proof that after you have a baby you can get back into the shape you desire. During pregnancy I gained mass amounts of weight, most of it being fluid 💧 This picture shows me at my leanest at 140lbs. The heaviest I got during pregnancy was 234lbs one week after delivery 🤯 . The first month I lost 40lbs of fluid! 😲 Now I'm sitting just under the 200 mark and I'm working every day to get back into shape. . I'm now on day 12 of the #21dayfix and I am LOVING IT ♥️ I feel great! The first week was a struggle because I have no abdominal muscles due to my c-section but I've quickly adjusted and many of the moves I couldn't do in week one I can now do a modified version of. . I know the journey will be long but that doesn't matter. What matters is to maintain a healthy 🏃🏼‍♀️🥗 lifestyle and to become stronger and make mindful eating choices so that one day I can pass these values down to little man. .
