Waan je op een plek waar je graag zou willen zijn .. een van de leukste tips van gisteren die ik zelf ook vaak aan mijn kids geven in dit soort situaties . Hoe het werkelijk ging? Een team van enthousiaste vriendelijke assistentes en een super vriendelijke arts met dosis humor namen me mee naar de ok.. maakten me aan het lachen en hadden het probleem binnen een minuut of 25 gefixt.met tijdens de operatie een flinke dosis grappige vragen en leuke antwoorden. En deze man kon zo goed prikken dat het reuze mee viel en de behandeling werd snel uitgevoerd. Weg bult boven mijn oog en Hello dik opgezet oog die nu helemaal blauw is. Geen tijd om bang te zijn of me druk te maken.. ja vandaag eens kijken welke matchend paarse oogschaduw ik kan kiezen voor de andere kant om het wat minder op te laten vallen straks bij de kapper @cosmohairstylingijmuiden en in de gym😜 wat zijn jouw plannen voor vandaag? Today was arm and chest day 💪🏼🏋🏽‍♀️😍 I've been working on my upper body strength and it's improved somewhat, but it's still definitely one of my biggest hurdles. 4 weeks left to go (assuming she doesn’t come early)! Belly feels so much bigger than it looks lol. Feet are starting to swell which is making it tough. During pregnancy, the extra fluid in the body and the pressure from the growing uterus can cause swelling (or "edema") in the ankles and feet. So it’s typical just not comfy feeling! In fact top of my uterus reaches my rib cage and baby is still active even though she doesn’t have much room left in there. . When I look into this mother’s eyes— I see an exhausted Mom. Today was unproductive— no workouts, dirty dishes are still in the sink and only half the food is prepped. . . But what I also see in this picture is a genuine smile, tons of gratitude and pure love for this little girl and little man. I reminded myself what a gift they are and how fast time is going by. . . So to the Mom who is having a hard day or week or even month— you’re doing a great job. Remind yourself what a gift it is to be a Mom and how fast the years fly by. . . Calves and abs as follows: Superset 🛶 Standing calf raises (smith machine) 6x10 🛶 Kettlebell side crunch 6x15 Superset ⛵️Donkey calf raises 3x20 (swipe to see video) original method has you put your workout partner on your back... seeing as I workout solo, a 45lb plate works 😉 ⛵️ Hanging leg raises 3x20 🔥 And done! Our home space is also our workout space. My husband and I make it work the best way we can for our little one and our busy schedules. Sometimes we have to pause our workouts, and that’s okay. I have to remind myself that our son won’t be this little for long. 😭

When it comes to fitness, working out or going to the gym in general...everyone has their own reasons and/or personal goals that they want to achieve. For me it’s my “out”. It’s the one place I go to that I feel only I can stop myself. It saves me, as cliche as that may sound. Physically, (because we are all our own worst critics) emotionally, (because I would lose it!) and mentally (because adulting can be extremely hard!). We all have our ups & down, our happy days, rough days & “can I get through this day?” days...but when all said and done, making my mind & body a priority, my health a top factor in my life, my SANITY in check...squeeeeezing it into my upmost busiest days...my answer is fitness. Day 13... something we are grateful in our room. I know the obvious should be my bed or TV but to be honest I really haven’t watched in a while or it’s in spurts. My bed need to be replaced and currently working on that so not my happy place. I do have a mound of DVD’s in my room including a cartoon collection that may or may not be Sidney’s 😂😂. And yes I still Buy DVD’s/blu-Ray. But the one thing I am super grateful for his my stuffed puggie. My bff had it made for me and it’s my niece (god-daughter) and nephew for Christmas one year. It says I Love you. When I press it just reminds me that I have people out there that love me and wanted to do something to make me smile.
