There is no right or wrong “exercise”. What does “functional exercise” even mean, and what is this “core” thing everyone keeps talking about whilst planking or crunching?! My newsfeed is blowing up with these so-called “fitness coaches” and “rehab experts” putting all type of crap out there. For 1 of 2 reasons, maybe both 1. Pure ignorance 2. Trying to grow their following by giving people what they think they want _ The only bad posture is the posture we spend too much time in. Life is not perfect posture, and neither is sports . As human beings, our movement capacity should be vast. If we only stay in a small handfuls of postures we aren’t fulfilling our movement potential, and we’re creating more dysfunctions and weaknesses because of it. Your body will devolve rapidly _ If you always hammer down the same posture, even if it’s “good posture”, you’re only creating strength and neurological control in that specific posture. So when your body slips out of that particular shape, weakness and injury is the outcome - and that’s not a good sign _ There is no such thing as a functional exercise, just functional (or non-functional) joints that can fulfill movement potential. If your joints can’t successfully control a range of motion that is necessary in your daily life, you should probably make that a priority for your training practice _ So in conclusion, is it that you need to practice good form (and never lose it, ever)...or, practice multiple forms. _ How do we practice in those ways? Well, it’s going to take a philosophical change first and foremost. Understanding our biology and neurology is important . If you do not know how to train in such ways, find those who do. . How do you set yourself up for a set or an exercise you struggle with? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - For me, I visualise what it is exactly what I’m doing and what exactly I want to accomplish! Like these hyper-extensions for example I struggle with these because of my lower back, once it gets pumped, the pain can be too great and I have to stop, but each time I do these, they get a little easier so I visualise myself beating the repetitions or the weight I used last time! So far it’s meant I’ve been able to progress, my back feels stronger not only during this movement but others as well as generally day to day! Visualise, you win #visualise #tipoftheday

💫Realistic VS Restricted💫 . . . I’m a big believer of being realistic than being restricted. I make my eggs daily in a bit of butter and yes I eat eggs everyday for breakfast. I’ve never compromised it with any spray, olive oil or anything as such. After all it’s not what you eat, it’s how much you eat. A bit of butter isn’t going to hurt you or make you fat, but it’ll make your eggs taste yummy. Rajská s javorovým sirupem a perníkovým kořením 🍝 Rajská omáčka - každý má ten svůj recept. Někdo ji má rád sladší někdo kyselejší. Já osobně sladší, ale doma se vždy dělala kyselejší kvůli taťkovi. A tak dnes, když jsem paní domu, dobře své kuchyně… dělám sladší. Ale jak dobře víte, u nás doma cukr nenajdete a tak jsem sáhla po javorovým sirupu. No, ale ten den jsem se chystala dělat těsto na perníčky a tak jsem přisypala i to a vznikl tak nový recept na rajskou, kterou doufám vyzkoušíte i vy! Navíc tento recept je bez mouky, protože i omáčka a karbanátky jdou udělat úplně bez mouky! A co budete teda potřebovat na 2 větší porce? 🍅🍅Omáčka: 🍅500 g pasírovaných rajčat od Podravky 🍅1 cibule 🍅3 bobkové listy 🍅8 ks kuliček pepře 🍅1 ks hřebíčku 🍅1 lžíce oleje 🍅javorový sirup (záleží, jak ji máte rádi sladkou) 🍅půlka lžičky perníkového koření 🍅asi 0,75 l vody 🍅🍅Karbanátky: 🍅Asi 250 g hovězího mletého masa 🍅1 vejce 🍅1 nakrájený stroužek česneku 🍅Sůl, pepř, bazalka 🍅🍅Příloha: 🍅Tříbarevná rýže Lagris V hrnci necháme rozehřát olej, přidáme nakrájenou cibulku a restujeme do zlatava. Do hrnce dáme také bobkové listy, pepř, hřebíček a perníkové koření – restujeme asi 2 minutky. Přilejeme pasírovaná rajčata, vodu a necháme povařit. Podle potřeby pak přidejte ještě vodu, popř. třeba rýžovou mouku na zahuštění. Po povaření dochutíme javorovým sirupem, přecedíme rajskou přes sítko a připravíme si karbanátky. V míse smícháme všechny suroviny na karbanátky a vytvarujeme ze směsi kuličky. Směs se trošku lepí, ale mouka opravdu není potřeba. Karbanátky můžeme péct v troubě nebo vařit v rajské omáčce (před vařením v omáčce je zlehka orestujte na pánvi alespoň ze dvou stran, ať drží lépe tvar). Podáváme s rýží nebo těstovinami. Dobrou chuť!
