How Much Weight Can You Cut Effortlessly With Water Loading?
1. When water restriction is preceded by water loading, you’ll lose more water weight acutely than you would if you drank a normal amount of water in the days before water restriction.
2. This excess loss of water weight seems to be driven by lower levels of vasopressin: a hormone that causes water reabsorption in the kidneys.
3. Some people worry about the safety of water loading, fearing that it may lead to hyponatremia. In the combat athletes used in this study, very high water intakes coupled with moderate salt intake and twice-daily training didn’t cause blood sodium or potassium concentrations to drop below the normal range.
4. Water loading for three days prior to fluid restriction decreases body mass more than fluid restriction alone does. The difference in this study was about 0.8% of body mass (0.5-1kg for most people). Water loading appears to be safe and doesn’t seem to increase hyponatremia risk if not taken to extremes. Switching to a low-fiber diet may help decrease body mass even more than water loading will. Don’t forget about this simple strategy next time you need to cut weight.

Friday nights are my 'day off', so time to have some fun in the gym!
While wondering how to best prepare for Cindy I know I have to push my weakest skill: air squats!! No... the pull ups 😉
Starting with a warming-up of a 10 min EMOM of 5 pullups with our second heaviest band, taking a deep breath and push on with a 20 min EMOM of 5 pullups with our second lightest band.
Yep, that's 150 pullups... As I mentioned in my previous post, I'm aiming for 1 round a minute.
Not all training sessions are fun, some nights I'm just staring at a white wall.

Quick update on life and progress: I am still continuing my cut. Meaning I am eating slightly under my maintenance calories (most of the time) and upping the amount of cardio I do. With the ultimate goal in mind to cut some excess body fat. I am so so so excited to start bulking and pushing weight in the gym! I am loving the gym and my program right now so Im gonna change anything at the moment. Hope everyone else is having a great start to the year!! One of my goals for the year was to make sure I am enjoying fitness, meaning if it becomes a chore, I will change it up. There is so much you can do to stay healthy! ❤️ I will be taking pics soon and sharing my progress so look out for that post 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
