It’s insane to think how much my form and strength improved over 6 months before I changed my training style. ⠀ Back in September I decided lifting heavy weights wasn’t an enjoyable way for me to move anymore (I still do weights every now and then when I feel like it, but it’s no longer my focus). I was so bored in the gym that I resented going. So what did I do? I didn’t stop going. Instead, I changed my training style. I changed to HIIT (high intensity interval training) and plyometrics based training because I wanted to be an absolute weapon! I wanted to be able to run fast, jump high, and push every physical ability I have to be an absolute ninja! ⠀ Basically all I’m saying is moving your body should be fun! You shouldn’t have to struggle to move your body, and if you do, you’re moving wrong! What you need to do is find something that excites you! I guarantee when you find something that excites you, you won’t have to be ‘motivated’ to do it.
