This is a lesson I am learning through my yoga cert, but makes me wonder how many pre-conceived judgments make me perceive my reality differently 🤔
Make it your goal today to perceive your reality with an open mind. What happens to you can't determine your happiness, only you can 🌞

2014 was a world where my existence was looking after my first born baby and not looking after my self. I ate tonnes of shit food to give me energy from the severe lack of sleep. I didn’t think about the consequences as long as my baby was happy.
As time goes on and your kids start to grow up, you begin to realise that looking after yourself is important too. Your kids see you as a role model and care about you just as much as you care about them. .
I remember thinking ‘where the fuck do I even begin!’ And I also remember trying and giving up after a few weeks when I saw no difference and was sick of drinking slim fast shakes or whatever crazy diets there were to try. .
If you’re stuck and feel you are not getting anywhere then here is my advice to you from my own experience:-
▶️ stop trying these ridiculous diets that claim you’ll loose 8lb in a week - you don’t need to starve yourself to make progress. It’s actually quite the opposite! ▶️ yes food can make you gain fat but the RIGHT food can also make you can muscle. Choose wisely what you put in your mouth. And no it doesn’t just have to be chicken and rice! ▶️ don’t use your kids or work as a reason to not exercise. If you really want something bad enough then you’ll make the time. Even if it’s just 30 minutes a day at home! ▶️ stop comparing yourself to others and getting discouraged - you will make progress in your own time. Everyone is different.
▶️ find an exercise you enjoy! I hate cardio and used to think that was the only way to get slim. Because I hated it so much I would give up. Now I’ve found a passion for weight lifting, I don’t see it as a chore. To me, this exercise is fun!
▶️ it’s not an easy one but you have to be patient. I’m the most impatient person everrrrr but trust me your progress is happening when you can’t even see it. Just be consistent and don’t loose that will power! ❤️
Shoulders/neck workout from Friday! If you haven’t tried a plate for your neck you really should. Helps a lot with growth and for helping prevent knockouts (my main reason :p). My favorite I’ve added so far!

I haven’t had cereal in forever but this Special K is sooooo yummy. 😋 It has a delicate crunch with dehydrated strawberries 🍓 and I’m obsessed. I had a small bowl with my little egg white omelette for protein and a cup of coffee, of course 🤗
New day, new week, same motivation, same goals. Remember your why and get that shit done! Today was leg day and I’m for sure going to feel it tomorrow, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Every ache and pain makes me realise I don’t have to accept things the way that they are. I have the final say over me: what I eat, how I look and most especially how I feel. I’ve not felt this energized in years. Getting up at 5am on a Monday morning to hit the gym to get an ass whipping doesn’t seem crazy anymore, if anything it’s the perfect start to my week! 🤣. It helps to do something that you love. Find a sport/method of training that you enjoy as it makes all the difference. In the absence of my weekly progress pic (was in too much of a rush this morning) I thought I’d share my annual progress pic. There is a year between these two photos, so @myfitnesspal
has just informed me, a year, 365 days!! Slightly shocked at my “before” picture. As taking it I didn’t think I had much to lose! But boy am I proud of the progress I’ve made in a year!

I did manage to weigh myself this morning and I’m 66.9kg!!! Back down to my previous goal weight and my sustainable weight achieved prior to my month of traveling and eating, drinking, eating some more! I’ve achieved this on week 3 of the #4weekbodyblitz
so excited what I can do in the final week and final push!
My client Ariana was already really motivated and committed to training before she started training with me. She just needed help with fixing her form and programming her workouts, but after just a few weeks of her consistent hard work she has seen a lot of improvement in her squats and deadlifts! .
