So I hate #cycling . Loathe it, dread it but when I'm done with it I feel so #strong , conquered and well, awesome. Soooo I do it, often now! To some that may seem crazy, why do things daily that cause so much dread? Well, for me its the reward that comes with it. Not only the physical reward (stronger, healthier) but the mental reward just as much. Strengthening my #mind to surpass things I don't 'want' to do or feel like I 'can't' do. __ I put this out there as a reminder of 2 things. 1, hard #work brings many challenges and pushes you to give up but the beauty in that is that you dont, but rather grow from it. 2, this type of mental processing works for me BUT it may not work for you. A reminder that everyone needs their own type of 'coaching' or #motivation to help them strive for a healthier version for of themselves. If this type of thinking isnt for you, dont stress it, find what works for you and embrace it. Head strong!

I trained every single day for 3 weeks, and while I did build a little muscle, at the end of it all, I felt way too fatigued, I was always tired, and it was just too unsustainable to keep going forward. I took another 3 weeks off from the gym before I went back. - While the motivation to go to the gym constantly is a good thing, it's also a good thing to get proper rest. If you're not getting enough rest throughout the week, it's gonna be harder for you to build muscle over time. - This is why training splits varying from 3-6 days a week are great, you still get to go to the gym and make gains while getting the proper rest you need. Rest is SO IMPORTANT! Don't underestimate it! - How many rest days do you take every week? Rest day, no pump, no significant amount of food in the belly. I did 40 mins of cardio after breakfast. On workout days i consume high glycemic index carbs for my gainz but on rest days i keep my blood sugar as low as possible. My goal is to gain muscle naturally without losing the sight of my abs. .

🌿✨MEAL PREP SUNDAY✨ we’re back on the show people! After last weeks failure to upload because I was stuffing my face in the big 🍎 Apple 🏙✨🌿 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ✨For pre workout this week I made homage cinnamon buns with vanilla and cinnamon protein stuffing ✨ The base recipe requires no yeast! I used 158g spelt flour, 19g coconut sugar, 42g coconut oil, 120ml almond milk 👈🏼 mixed that all together in a bowl and let it settle for a bit, in the mean time mix the filling: 40g vanilla protein with cinnamon and a bit water (it needs to be thinnish but not too thin and not too watery// use hot judgement) ✨ I spread the spread on the base, rolled the base and cut into 5 cinnamon buns. Placed them in a baking tray and baked them for 30 mins ✨ macros for one: 24C | 9F | 8P ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ✨Breakfast is chocolate crepes with yummy fruits and a drizzle of choc shot 🍫 ✨ For one serving: 75g spelt flour, 10 chocolate vegan blend protein powder, 1 tbsp cacao powder, 1 tbsp ground flax seeds, 180ml almond milk, lemon juice, 1tsp baking powder and salt ✨Top your crepes with love ❤️✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ✨For a mid morning snack I baked strawberry protein coookies! 📖 Makes 10: ✨400g strawberries 🍓 ✨ 145g soy protein strawberry flavour ✨42g coconut flour 🥥✨ 2tbsp baking powder👩🏻‍🍳 Mix all of the ingredients up in a blender, make into cookie shapes, pop on a baking sheet lined baking tray in the oven for 15 mins! ✨Macros: 5C | 14P | 0F ✨ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ✨Lunch! On New Years Eve she got the call near midnight that there was a kidney for her. She’s had the transplant surgery (huge success) and with the guidance of her doctor I’m busy working out a specific program for her because the medications she is now on can build up in her larger muscles, and we need it to move around. Anaerobic, low intensity, limited cardio, and other limits, quite the challenge! This year is already the best. And what a privilege it is to have the chance to work with a teen in this way, one that is like my second daughter. There’s going to be a whole lot of love in this program. This is why we do what we do. I’m so excited! It’s not about her losing weight or getting abs. This is about so much more. Was never about money for me, this whole thing is about changing lives. This week has been the best! Happy Friday spunks! Big ride south tomorrow, cameras ready, it’s going to be a hot one again! 40 deg c all weekend! Woohooo! 😘
