Spanish Potato Omelette with capsicum was for lunch. I don’t think this meal is popular outside of Spain but omg it is one of the most traditional things in here, and my grandma used to make it all the time when I was younger. It is AMAZING, recipe is here: 🥔6 to 7 medium potatoes (peeled) 🥔1 yellow onion (diced into 1/4-inch pieces) 🥔1/2 tablespoon salt (or to taste) 🥔2 to 3 cups olive oil (for pan frying) 🥔5 to 6 large eggs (the better the eggs, the better the tortilla) METHOD: Chop the potato and onion, and place them into a bowl. Heat 2 cups of olive oil on a pan and place the potato-onion mixture (the olive oil should almost cover the potatoes). Whisk the eggs on a bowl and then throw them to the pan. Let everything cook and you’re good to go 🤩🚀 Happy Tuesday x

It then evolves into a fixation with food rules! . ⚠️It isn't a formally recognised eating disorder. 🙅🏽‍♀️ . 🧠A person with Orthorexia feels a sense of control, purity and satisfaction with restricted and ordered healthy eating! . ✔️ This disorder has to do more with the quality of food as opposed to quantity. ⚖️ . 🤔 Obsessive avoidance of foods with chemicals/artificial substances/sugar/fat/any other 'undesirable' ingredients could be some manifestation of orthorexia. Excessive focus on food prep could also exist! . 💁🏽‍♀️Symptoms such as anxiety, perfectionism, food avoidance and ritualistic behaviour may be indicators. My coworkers used to ALWAYS give me a hard time in the mornings when I first started my fitness journey!💯 CUZ the mornings I’d workout I couldn’t shut up, SO HAPPY, & was the positivity energizer bunny!🤣 You think I’m joking but I’m not!!!🙌🏻 . At times it drove them NUTS. But I honestly did NOT care.🤷🏻‍♀️ I was MISERABLE so long that I forgot what it was like to shine & be happy AF!🔥 Most of them had NO idea what I was going through & that I was living in a state of fear. Getting back to it after time off. • I've been sick pretty much since arriving in SA 😣 so while I've done some walking, I've not done any lifting or intense cardio. That's almost two weeks off - something that I NEVER do. I'll have a couple of days out once in a while, but I hate taking more. • The good news is that I'm feeling much better, and will hopefully have the energy to hit the gym tomorrow. My body feels pretty ruined right now - I'm a bit achy from the flu, and feel just yucky in general. It won't be easy getting back in the gym, BUT I'm one of those people that cannot wait to get back on it 💪 here's a snap of me today during a walk along the seafront in Port Elizabeth. So I’m going to be brave and post this on my feed... these are the results from last month while I did the Arbonne 30 day reset. . My goal was to get my energy back, feel fitter and lose the weight that seems to creep back on when I’m not staying healthy. . The food is just too damn good in Melbourne! . But I just wanted to be honest about the 30 day reset and with my results. . They probably aren’t as great as the last time I did this reset but I think my starting points were different. . I didn’t wait for a perfect time to complete the reset either. These results include a three day weekend when I didn’t stick to the reset plan, and I had a few wines too ok 🙈. . But the one thing I continue to use in my everyday life now is I know how my body is supposed to feel. . I know how great I can feel when I eat clean and exercise regularly. I am starting to know what food groups don’t agree with me as much and I know how they affect my mood, sleep and energy. . There’s never a perfect time to do something like this reset...but I can’t even begin to say how great you’ll feel if you do. . What health and fitness goals do you have?
