Guess who weighed in this morning and hit her 6 pound weight loss goal for week?! This girl!!! 👈🏻💪🏻💁🏼. I’m not going to lie I had some major cravings this week but I pushed through because I knew it would be worth it! This was also accomplished with 0 exercise, which goes to show you how important good nutrition is. It’s 80% nutrition 20% exercise. While I’m super excited about the 6 pounds this week, I know it’s not typical. 6 pounds in a week is a lot ! It always comes off easiest in the beginning. What’s really going to matter is my consistency and drive while I continue to work on my goals. It took me 9 months to lose my first 100 pounds. Which sounds fast and it was! But when you stop and do the math I was only averaging 2.7 pounds a week. Which is still awesome ! But I was able to achieve that because of my consistency. I’m not on a diet , they don’t work. What I did was change my life style. So there was no “I’m not following my diet this week” excuse for me. Only two times during that 9 months did I not see the scale go down. Both times it’s because I had chose to eat more crap that week than I should have. I didn’t stress out about it because I knew exactly why I had gained and what I needed to do to get rid of it. I still had my “earned” meal every week because guess what? This girl loves 🍕! And I still lost weight those weeks! That’s because the rest of the week and even that day up until that meal I stuck with my healthy lifestyle. I don’t share any of this to impress you. I just want you to know what’s possible when you start taking her health and life seriously. You get this one life , this one body , why not make it the best you can? What does eating crap, being over weight and feeling miserable get you? You don’t have to live like that. You’re choosing to. I know it’s hard and I know some days suck but you can do it ! I AM BLESSED!! Blessed to wake up almost everyday with a joy to continue working on myself. Blessed to see and feel the changes in my body, and in my mind. Not everyday has been perfect, but everyday makes me happy to be alive. I don’t post these pictures just to show my workouts. I post them so you all see someone who went from being obese to being fit doing all kinds of different activities. I post because I know the struggle of being obese, the struggle of waking up feeling unworthy, and the struggle of being insecure. I post and continue to post because I hope and pray you all find the motivation to find the indescribable absolute happiness I have. That look on my face is of determination to succeed in everything I do, and in every struggle I have. Even though we have individual struggles, you and I are in this grind together. YOU ARE WORTHY.
