Two of my go-to’s that I love to hate OR hate to love?…Still undecided, but all’s I know is that they both contribute to the post-leg day "HURTS SO GOOD” feels 👍🏼
1️⃣Smith Glute Kickbacks: 3x15 on each leg —One of the few workouts where I feel INSTANT glute 🍑 activation- AMAZING 🎉
2️⃣Jump Lunge to Squat: Complete until failure (peep my ultimate fail face at the end😝) — I use this as a “finisher” to end my leg-days feeling JUST right. Gotta shoutout to the queen of all queens @desb___

There are a lot of variables with mini transformation photos.
1. Water weight: yes, it’s a real thing! Depending on how much you’ve had to drink will absolutely show in your progress photos, or even when you look down at your belly! But don’t be discouraged, hit the gym, manage your salt intake, and drink more water(yes, drink more water)!
2. Amount of food eaten/time of day:
The photo taken in March was taken right when u woke up first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, and the second photo was taken literally 2 hours ago(4:00pm central time). Obviously, on an empty stomach you’ll look smaller! I took this photo today after eating two meals to show this point 😜
3. Results ARE NOT consistent. Yes, we have cheat days, we fluctuate on the scale, and we accidentally eat a few 🍪🤷🏼♂️. But as long as you get back to your routine right after, the world still moves on and you still move closer to your goal!
These pictures are 8lbs apart, and I feel great! I’ve been maintaining strength and working out 4X per week.

Sometimes it's more important to figure out where you are than to decide where you're going. If you don't know where you are, how do you expect to know your destination? We often rush to our next goal, forgetting what we are leaving behind, forgetting those we are leaving behind. We forget that happiness is a journey, not a destination. We forget that tomorrow would not exist without today, and that today would not be what it is without who we are and what we have.

I love when people ask me, “so when are you going to be done with that 80 day program?” Or “Why are you doing it again?” 😂 I’m doing this for me, that’s why!
