Rough couple of weeks. I got issues y’all. I got issues for real. It seems that I am idling at fail attempts at 315 lbs. Seriously tho I got to get my mindset corrected. Telling myself to stop feeling what I am feeling and just let all go. None of it matters, I came too far in life to be bought down... Be more focused. Work harder. Friday already! This week has been extremely hectic running around completing school applications before work..and working till late. But today will be my first full training session this week and I am pretty excited about getting myself back into gym again.
Skipping workouts for a few days or a week isn't going to do much. In fact sometimes your body needs it. For most people who are exercising regulary and has moderate to solid conditioning level (workouts 4-6 times a week), a week off is an opportunity to take a break and refresh mind & body.
The biggest ''risk'' in taking week off is more mental. For the beginner the routine is the key and after one week break it might be more difficult to get motivated.
Having a program to follow will make a huge difference. Yet in order to stick to a fitness program, we need encouragement from other people. Join in to my Facebook Page @maijakivelafit
