💥FITNESS MYTH💥 We’re often told that carbohydrates should be eliminated or cut from our diets to lose weight and this is FALSE! 35-40% of our calorie intake should come from carbohydrates. Complex carbs (grains, veggies, starches) are better than simple carbs (the sweeter things) but they should never be completely eliminated from our diets. When carbs are eliminated our body goes into starvation mode and metabolism slows down. Because our body uses stored carbs for energy it will begin to attack your muscles for energy and will result in losing weight not because of fat loss but because of muscle and water depletion 😳

••• This is so true! 👏🏼💕✨ Who else feels 100% better when they’re eating right! 🙋‍♀️ To me, eating right means eating so that my body feels energized!⚡️ I feel happy and satisfied after I eat my meals! 😁 This means that I don’t restrict my self from anything, but choose foods that fuel my body more often than I pick foods that don’t. 🍏💕🍕 It’s that simple! 🙌🏼 I’ve struggled with my relationship with food in the past (and I’m not gonna lie, I still have rough days on occasion) and would be super restrictive with what I ate because I was afraid of people thinking I was “lying” about my love for fitness because of my lack of abs. 🙄 I would stress before parties and bbq’s TERRIFIED that there wouldn’t be “healthy options”. 😬 I don’t think there’s anything wrong with counting calories (and you need to be mindful of them no matter what, just not obsessively) but I’m starting to notice it’s not good for me mentally and I think I need to transfer over to intuitive eating.✨ I’ve come to learn that this isn’t healthy for me and that the true reason I workout and eat the way I do is because it makes me FEEL amazing! ✨🙌🏼💕 I am really passionate about separating aesthetics from with fitness and hope I can inspire you all! ❤️ ••• ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So yesterday my family went to Hollywood on one of those hop on hop off busses for a tour! I didn’t think it would be bad but it was certainly more interesting than I thought! The tour pretty much took up the entire day because we stopped at some locations to look around. Blogueira fitness!!!! Sem dúvidas essa é a profissão do século. Mulheres que determinam padroes de beleza e fazem muitas pessoas acreditarem que seus padrões são corretos e o pior, que todo mundo pode ficar do jeitinho delas. Genética, metabolismo, organismo... não são mais individuais. Hoje fazendo uma pesquisa pude ver a gota d'Água: blogueira fitness infantil. Gente!!!!! Isso é um absurdo. Crianças em processo de formação corporal e mental serem estimuladas por pessoas que, na maioria das vezes, nem tiveram formação para tal. Cada vez mais percebo que as pessoas estão carente de estímulo, mas dai esse estímulo e incentivo ocorrerem de uma forma imposta e como regra geral é complicado. Cada indivíduo possuem suas particularidades que devem ser levadas a sério para que aconteça uma mudança de forma positiva e responsável. Às vezes me pergunto de verdade: será que essas blogueiras realmente seguem essa vida regrada? Será que aqueles corpos perfeitos não passam por um processo de filtro??? Todos nós somos seres humanos e reais e, por isso mesmo, não existe a perfeição. Sem contar que muitas delas se submetem a tratamentos estéticos, fazem o consumo de suplementos e recebem patrocínio. Será que essa é a realidade de todo mundo??? Será que todo mundo pode arcar com todo esse aparato na busca do corpo perfeito? Precisamos sim buscar nossa melhora, mas dentro da nossa realidade. SHREDDED vs LEAN🤔 📚BOOKMARK FOR FUTURE📚 ➖➖➖ Everybody has different goals in fitness, and if yours is to be absolutely shredded, then by all means go for it. I’m not gonna stop you. The only thing I would say about it is, it’s not as glamorous as you may think. ➖➖➖ Being able to stay relatively lean (picture on the right) can be done quite easy. Yes you need to put in the work, but if you know what to do, there’s no reason as to why you can’t do it. Staying in a slight surplus to gain muscle but keep body fat as minimal as you can. Being able to be flexible in what you eat, not going crazy, but having a mental note of what you can and can’t eat. Having a social life, eating out, going drinking. Staying lean really isn’t much of a struggle, and you can enjoy life. ➖➖➖ Now, when you make the decision to get shredded, things get serious. Everything counts, every little detail. You can’t eat as much as you want. Yes, there are ways around it where you might not crave any more food, but if one night you really want that brownie, and you’ve had all your macros for the day, well then you ain’t having that brownie... You will make 0 gains in the gym, being in a deficit only means 1 thing, you lose size. It’s up to you on how you train and eat if that’s muscle or fat. Finally, the (imo) most important factor to take in, is that you will be tired. You will be drained. Your performance everywhere will be affected, in the gym, in the bedroom, at your workplace. Everywhere. As for, being just ‘lean’, you can manage to balance everything with more ease. Your body functions correctly, and in healthy way. ➖➖➖ Like I said, I’m not trying to change someone’s mind if they want to go and get super shredded, just take in the affects it will have on your body, and your life before you jump into it. ➖➖➖ After that, would you prefer to be shredded or just lean? Yoga .... Mi conocimiento de la práctica comenzó hace más de 6 años en Ucrania y continuó con varios pausas en diferentes estudios de yoga en todo el mundo. Raramente pensé en la pregunta, ¿para qué? Pero determinar el lugar y el papel de la práctica en la propia vida no es una tarea trivial, pero ayuda mucho dar respuestas a muchas preguntas de ataque. En mi opinión, el yoga es el mismo caso cuando la relación es más importante que el proceso. Los resultados de la práctica de yoga se encuentran fuera del plano físico. La respuesta a la pregunta anterior "¿Para qué?" tendrá cada uno la suya. No hay respuestas "correctas", solo hay un momento fundamental: la conciencia, que prima no solo el cuerpo, ¡sino todo su ser!
