Instructions: 1. Put your knees on the ground 2. Both forearms rest on the ball with elbows under the shoulder line and a 90-degree angle between arms and torso. 3. Torso straight and far from the ball 4. Contract the core muscles and slightly disconnect both knees from the ground. Main points: Make sure to maintain general posture and stability. Use a pole for sensory feedback according to the main points explained in the previous exercises. Throughout the exercise, maintain chest breathing to ensure optimal activity of the core muscles. I had an absolutely perfect Easter weekend with family, more than enough chocolate bunnies 🐰, long brunches and leisurely walks with the 🐶 and pretty much no exercise (minus that morning run) and you know what, today I got back to my routine and didn’t plan a longer workout than usual to make up for the indulgent weekend, I just picked up where I left off 🙌🏻 . . Back in the day there was a time when I would have felt super guilty about missing 3 days in the gym and living off candy, but these days I know it’s the long run that matters and a weekend spent filling your heart with family is just as rewarding as eating well and killing it in the gym. So if you had a wonderful long weekend like I did and you find yourself beating yourself up a bit because of it, stop that and focus on all the joy and happiness the weekend celebrations brought you instead. You know, today is day 16 of my 30 day keto challenge and I put that on hold over the weekend so I can enjoy some treats and feast with my family. Normally the old me would beat myself up for “cheating” on my plan and although I still have those guilty voices in my head at times, I can easily quiet them now and so should you because life is about balance and that’s part of what makes the whole journey enjoyable. One of the biggest misconceptions about being a “beginner” in the movement world is that it’s EASY. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ People want to jump straight into the cardio blast, shred, advanced, buns and guns, total body, high intensity workout. We tend to roll our eyes at the idea of being on the beginner level. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I get it. We want the biggest bang for our buck. We are swayed by an industry that tends to push bigger, better, harder, sweatier. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ All of that is well and good IF you have gotten to know your body first 💜. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I don’t force clients to learn the basics just to annoy them or for my own entertainment. I do it because there is a method to the madness (believe it or not). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In order to form a longterm healthy relationship with movement you must first form a longterm healthy relationship with your own body. This is done with time and love and listening and trust. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s hard to listen when an instructor is yelling at you to grab a kettlebell and you don’t know what that means. It’s hard to trust when you have no idea if you can lift that 20lb weight but you don’t want to feel embarrassed in front of other people. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s hard to love yourself when you haven’t taken the time to fall in love again. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Being a beginner takes courage and strength. It takes persistence and patience. It means repeating movements and motions over and over again until it’s a part of the rhythm of your body. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s anything but easy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But it’s necessary if you want to take the next step. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Remember 👉🏼 My online 30 Day Pilates for Beginners Program starts May 1! Non sempre serve alzare i pesoni, a volte basta controllare di più il movimento, concentrarsi sulla connessione "mente-muscolo" (ovvero sentire i muscoli che lavorano, sentirli bruciare). Non è il carico esterno a farci crescere, ma la tensione che sentiamo noi a livello muscolare, se sappiamo controllare il movimento in maniera fluida, e gestiamo bene il carico senza "gettarlo" a bischero ne beneficiamo molto di più! INGREDIENTES: - 4 huevos. - 400 g de Championes. - 1 ajo. - 75 g de espinacas - Pan tostado. - Aceite de oliva extra virgen - Sal. . PREPARACIÓN: 1. Limpiamos y láminamos los Championes 2. Ponemos una sartén al fuego con un chirrito de aceite de oliva extra virgen. Echamos un ajo picado y doramos. 3. Cuando empecé a cambiar de color incorporamos los CHAMPIÑONES y salgamos al gusto. Sofreímos. 4. Una vez cocinados incorporamos las hojas de espinacas, salteamos 1 minuto. 5. Hacemos tres o cuatro huevos para echar los huevos,. Cascamos los huevos en un bol y lo echamos en uno de los agujeros que hemos hecho y así con los demás huevos. 6. Echamos un poquito de sal a cada huevo y dejamos que se cocine a fuego medio. 7. Espolvoreamos un poco de pimienta molida y servimos sobre rebanada de pan tostado. .
