Do you surround yourself with link-minded people? 🧐 • Warning ⚠️ I am about to keep it oh so real right now! 💁🏻‍♀️ You have to surround yourself with like-minded people, either people on your level or people above your level. Think about who you surround yourself with, do they uplift you, spread your vision, support you, or motivate you. OR do they put you down, do they try to bring you to their level, do they only talk about the past or the now. • If you want to grow and expand you have to surround yourself with the people who grow and expand. So here comes the real part, you may have to let go of people in your life (friends, family) it’s hard but our surroundings have a HUGE impact on us. • Think about it like this....imagine a garden how do things grow? Sunlight, water, enriched soil....what do we get rid of weeds, twigs....are you getting the point....you are the garden....surround yourself with sunlight, water, and enriched soil. That’s how we grow and expand. 🌳🍃
Day 14 Gratitude-😌 I got this hat from the @andymineo and @lecrae concert — but I love it and have been wearing it everyday since. This pic was from Monday — but this message just keeps resonating in my head. I was having a convo with my sis and honestly I’m grateful that 8 months ago this was my motto! Seriously — what did I have to lose and it’s better late than never to start taking care of myself again! Like... not being able to use my right hand at all, not being able to lift upper body, not being able to do impact exercises, not being able to swim. HOWEVER, if I take a minute and look at the things I CAN DO, it actually adds up too. I can still walk, I can squat, I can train my legs, I can laugh, I can eat, I can smile and I can focus on getting myself healed and stronger than ever. When you look at it the things I can do may even outweigh the things I can’t do. So, I want to thank @dana_stays_fit for being inspiring and helping me with my mind set.
