💡 👉 'There is evidence that raw food diets may be inadequate in many dietary aspects. In one study, vitamin B-carotene levels were higher in subjects who ate seven servings a day of both raw and cooked vegetables, as opposed to 14 servings a day of purely raw vegetables. There are a few instances where plant enzymes affect us physiologically, such as the formation of sulforaphane in broccoli. In these instances it may be beneficial to eat the broccoli raw or to chop it before cooking, since the enzyme is inactivated by cooking. Different cooking methods also affect the nutrient profile of foods. Steamed and microwaved foods can actually be more nutritious than their raw counterparts, particularly in regards to their bile-acid binding ability. On the other hand, boiling and pressure cooking causes nutrients to become lost in the cooking water. There are exceptions, however, since boiled kale was found to have higher immunostimulatory effects than raw kale. Carrots and celery become more nutritious when cooked apparently no matter what method you use. Artichokes, beets, onions and asparagus retain their nutrients in any cooking method as well. 👉 BOTTOM LINE: There are a lot of people who follow the completely raw or rawtill4 lifestyle and I don't want to discourage this people in doing so... BUT scientifically speaking it is not the healthiest choice for above mentioned reasons ! A MIX of raw, cooked or steamed foods is the healthiest CHOICE in my opinion ! 💪🌱

Happy Wednesday and happy birthday to one of my closest friends 🎉 today was sunny and there was very little wind 🌴 that was probably the reason why the beach was filled with lots and lots of people 🌊 what have you done today? And I know it is not #pancakesunday
yet but pancakes are always a lovely idea right? And these two different flavoured ones are even better than just having regular ones 😉 and together with fresh pineapple and blueberries it is so summery and perfect 😍 what is your favourite summer fruit? Have a lovely evening 💕
▪ 100g raspberries
▪ 100g flour (I used 50g @reishunger
wholegrain rice flour and 50g oat flour)
▪ a splash of plantbased milk
▪ sweetener of choice
▪ 1 tbsp nut butter
Blend the raspberries and stir in the flour. Slowly add the plantbased milk until you have a thick pancakes batter. Add more liquid if it is too thick. Preheat a pan and fry the pancakes. Top them with all the toppings you like.
▪ 100g flour
▪ 75g unsweetened apple sauce or 1 banana
▪ 10g chia or flax seeds
▪ 120-150 ml water or plantbased milk
▪ sweetener of choice (dates, maple sirup, ect.)
▪ 20g cacao powder
Mix the flour, cacao powder and the chia seeds. Next stir in the apple sauce or the mashed banana and slowly add liquid until you have a pancake batter. Add more liquid if it is too thick. Preheat a pan. It's time to add your sweetener of choice. Now you can fry your pancakes. Enjoy with fresh fruit, vegan yoghurt or nut butter.

“WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR PROTEIN FROM?”
Vegan athletes get this question all the time because people tend to think that meat = protein. But plants have more protein than you think!
-If you ate 2000 calories of broccoli, you would get 146 grams of protein.
-If you ate 2000 calories of lentils, you would get 157 grams of protein.
-If you ate 2000 calories of blueberries, you would get 48 grams of protein.
Now imagine that, instead of eating these crazy amounts of the same plants, we ate 2000 calories of a variety of different plants. We wouldn’t just get enough protein, we would get more than enough!
And for those thinking: “plants have enough protein but they don’t have all the amino acids”—>Ask your doctor if he/she has ever received a patient with a deficiency of arginine😂😂 —
The truth is that if we eat enough calories from a variety of plants we can fuel ourselves with a cruelty-free source and build muscle like crazy!!💪

Suavizar en un sartén con agua o aceite, la cebolla y el Jalapeño si usarás....Licuar todo menos las semillas y el cilantro... Esos se agregan a mano... Formas las hamburguesas y horneas a 200°C a que dore la base, volteas y dejas unos minutos más... Fik endelig taget mit kamera med mig op og træne - har længe gerne villet fordi det er fedt at kunne teknik-tjekke sig selv på film + have videoer af progress + at kunne dele det jeg laver, men har ikke turdet fordi jeg var bange for hvad folk tænker når de ser jeg filmer mig selv 😂.
Men som en del af projekt “I don’t give a fuck” kom kameraet endelig med.
Det her er også enormt grænseoverskridende for mig at dele da jeg er meget kritisk med det jeg laver 😅.
Træningen bestod af:
95 kg x 6 af 2 sæt.
100 kg x 4-5 af 2 sæt (opdagede jeg tog 5 på den her video, jeg talte 4 da jeg løftede 😂).
40 kg x 12 af 3 sæt.
40 kg x 8 af 3 sæt.
Derudover lavede jeg:
Benpres 150 kg x 8 af 3 sæt.
Leg extension 55-60 kg x 6-8 af 3 sæt (derefter dropset til udmattelse)
Glute cable kickback til udmattelse.

Honour the present moment, stop resisting it. Most unease, fear and negative emotion is a product of resisting what is. Accept what you cannot change and act on things you can. Everything else is just noise from the mind. Easy for me to write this while I’m sitting on the beach right? All of the best things in life take time. I’ve been so caught up in the stresses of daily life lately. I’ve been working, studying, building my business, dealing with daily stresses and issues at home, and more. However, tonight, I ran laps around a park with my doggo. 🐶 Tonight, I danced in the kitchen whilst making a curry and snickerdoodle macadamia cookies. Tonight, I practiced my favourite little chest opening yoga flow. 🧘♀️Tonight, I meditated for 5 minutes. Tonight, I spent time moisturising, using my favourite essential oils, brushing my hair, drinking water. Tonight, I focused on being conscious throughout my whole evening routine and right now, I feel at peace.
Take time to make your soul happy. 💖
Veggie rice rolls with baked tofu and spicy peanut sauce via @plantlovinturk
Oil Free Spicy Peanut Sauce:
1/2 cup creamy all natural peanut butter
1/2 cup to 3/4’s cup of water depending on how thick or thin you like it
1-2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
2 tablespoons tamari
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1/2 lime juiced
1 inch fresh ginger grated
1-2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp sriracha
2 teaspoons fresh cilantro
Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and process until smooth.
