FS: 1989 #Toyota #FJ62 #Landcruiser
Have had a good amount of work done on this since purchase including: replacement of fuel lines, replacement of fuel tank, replaced transmission (came from another FJ that had about 180,XXX on it), new seals throughout, new charcoal canister, new wiper blades, new suspension throughout (Old Man Emu Deluxe Kit: new front leaf springs, new rear leaf springs, new nitrocharger sport shocks front and back, new bushings, new steering damper, new u-bolts, new spring bushings, new anti-inversion shackles, and new greasable spring pins, see more info here: http://ironpigoffroad.com/OMEKIT-FJ60, this is the premier suspension package for these vehicles and feels great. Medium load option up front and heavy in the rear in anticipation of longer excursions in the desert with a lot of gear), new front bumper (https://manafrelv.com/product/manafre-4-plus-60-series-deluxe-winch-bumper/), new gas cap, new dash, and new stereo. A few tears in the front seat, but other than that the upholstery is in excellent shape. Working automatic windows (passenger side and rear passenger side windows have some bugs when using the driver control panel), a/c (needs a charge) and heat, gauges, blinkers, brights, lights, wipers (front and rear), heated rear window, 4x4 high, 4x4 low, and front lockers. Includes roof rack (can include ski rack for a price, could also include a Kuat hitch mount bike rack for a price). Regular oil and fluid changes since I have owned it (4 years). The frame is entirely rust free, the body is nearly rust free with the exception of a few small bits near the windows. A small dent on the passenger side. That being said, this is one the cleaner bodied FJ's I've come across or have seen, making it a great platform for continued upgrades and renovation.
The plan was to swap out the original 6 cylinder engine for a diesel when this one called it quits. So far it shows no signs of slowing down. Fires up no problem first try, and all in all is a solid and reliable truck. 31” Tires still have some life left. DM me or leave a comment if interested.
