*Me when I hear people state that they’re dieting for the holidays*
Dieting for a period of eating? Sure, that sounds good and well, but let’s evaluate how it will probably go over. You diet down for a time of higher calorie intake, so therefore the holiday won’t do “as much damage” but note that after you diet your hunger hormones are generally as wank as they get. Meaning you will get less full after eating, and you will be hungrier overall. Most people will eat more or less whatever they want on holidays, as they should, depending on circumstances, and the odds of you actually doing much more “damage” to yourself after the holiday is done, are MUCH higher if you come into the holiday already metabolically down-regulated and have wacky hormones that will drive OVER-CONSUMPTION. -
In addition, why diet for a period of eating? Seems like bulking for the beach to me.
I notice when I’m at a healthy bodyfat %, I actually end up under-eating on my holidays, and worrying less about food and more about the people I’m spending the holiday with 😊
Ultimately, it’s your call, and in some circumstances I could see where one would have to be dieting.

Since competing in Nov...I have thoroughly enjoyed my weekends 🐷🤦🏽♀️😂
My boyfriend will back me up, that the words “fluffy” & “fat” get thrown around like glitter on Christmas cards.!! 😳✨
Don’t get me wrong - I know I am not ‘fat’ but seeing my body gain size & feeling clothes becoming tight again, does make my mind spin & I do get anxious..
• “What will the people on IG think of me posting a non lean pic?”
• “Will the people I see at the gym, from time to time, judge me for not being lean anymore?”
• “Will my clients or class participants whisper behind my back about how my ass & face have got squidgy again.!?” 🐷
The ugly truth is - Maybe! 😳
But....were they also the ones who judged me for being “too lean” for “living at the gym” or “being unrealistic” with my physique & daily life.!?
The bigger picture is that, although I absolutely love my body when I am lean & looking fit.... I don’t always feel it. I can be tired, hungry, irritable & sometimes, workouts are hard work.
Now I definitely have more energy, my hormones are back to normal & although I am slightly fluffy around the edges.... I am strong & physically fit.! 🙌🏼🔥

It’s not pretty... but it’s progress! 🤪After all this time, I could never string together my toes to bar. Anytime there was T2B in a workout it would KILL my time, bc it took me so long to bang them out. After a quick kip tutorial from @crossfit_dracut
I finally put it together on Thursday! I wouldn’t call it a kip just yet, but I’m stringin’ em baby! Please note: my forearms are still junk from Thursday & this was after the workout this morning. #excuses

Now I am not the leanest human at all because I’m greedy 🙄😇☺️ But I did have a conversation this morning about ‘abs’. I don’t likeeeee talking about ‘ab’ exercises because the core is so much more than just ‘abs’. Anyways- it’s a thing you see people do, you see them do a million sit ups and their form goes, they work only one area and they put their back at risk. Training your core is so important for functionality in life and for fitness and it is your entire trunk! So when people ask me what do I ‘do’ for ‘abs’ they seem shocked when I say DEADLIFT heavy, SQUAT heavy, OVERHEAD PRESS heavy and the king core movement OVERHEAD SQUAT heavy! I also train my core in all movements, rotation, anti rotation, forwards, backwards. Just a friendly reminder that everything you see on IG is a version of the truth. Yes, we all like to show the good sides of ourselves and so we bloody should if it makes us feel good about ourselves. But when we start to compare ourselves to other people or those pictures makes us feel less than 💯% fabulous? Well then we need to reel that shit in and remember that our bodies are amazing and wondrous things and the skin we wear does not define us. Who cares if you don’t have toned arms/lean legs/a washboard stomach? My kids tell me all the time “you’ve/I’ve got a fat tummy” because it’s full of delicious food. WINNING!! I’d be more concerned if I was starving to be honest.

На последнем слайде вакуум живота в положении лёжа. Могу сказать, что мне легче вакуум сделать стоя в положении изогнутого стручка, чем лёжа. 😂
Впечатления на сегодня - как ни странно самую малость болят мышцы спины, мышцы пресса ещё меньше. Вот что значит тренить регулярно.
Кстати сегодня смогла сделать вытянутый стол - 20 касаний плеча. #достижение

I left Australia at the weight of 90.9kilos and I’m currently at 80.2kilos after being One month meat free as well as training.This has been one of the biggest changes in my life going from loving meat to enjoying a healthier meat free life I’m still currently trying as a vegetarian but I think it’s a start in opening my eyes to what’s really happening with the meat industry and the impact it has on our environment. I’m not out to preach hate or say eating meat is wrong I do miss it but I can see a clearer picture now that Im off meat it’s helped me loose weight and gain confidence that I’ve never had before although I’m still eating cheese and find social standings difficult when someone offers me a coffee,tea or ice cream that contains milk so at the moment for me practising as a vegetarian is more viable solution then being a full on vegan although I won’t label myself as a vego as I find putting restrictions on one self make for relapses. I used to love a big glass of milk but I’ve found the same enjoyment in soy milk and oat milk it’s just a matter of being open to change and new perspectives. Here’s a alternative way to use a rowing machine 🙈
Focus on your core and keep the movements controlled. You can do variations to this exercise but I have only done two in this, a kneeling crunch and pike ups.
Kneeling crunches involve you bringing your knees in towards your chest, keep your arms straight and brace your core.
Pike ups involve you keeping your legs as straight as you can, lifting your hips, bring your feet towards the body and keep your back straight.
Try 3 sets of 10 💥

Expectation VS. Reality- first time ever posting about these type of photos. I’ve posted photos of myself like this before but only wearing high waisted leggings that hid my lower waist/stomach. I just wanted to say after having a baby, whooahh, your stomach is never the same! 😱Unless you had hard-rocking abs and worked out before then. But, it took time to realize that since my stomach is stretched out and will take time to adjust to go back the way it was, why won’t you just enjoy and love your body?
