☝️ MYTH MONDAY ☝️ No pain, no gain? Is this really true?
For the most part no, but it does have it's place.
In order for us to progress, become fitter, stronger and more muscular, we need to push ourselves to do more than what's 'comfortable'. Applying more stress to our muscles and cardiovascular system is what causes adaptation.
However, if you experience actual joint pain or discomfort during certain exercises, it's probably not wise to 'push through the pain'. A little rule - if it hurts, don't do it.
