“The heavens keep telling the wonders of God, and the skies declare what he has done. Each day informs the following day; each night announces to the next. They don't speak a word, and there is never the sound of a voice. Yet their message reaches all the earth, and it travels around the world...”

Make your way to Weekend Market Brunch at @tcooksphoenix
for Ricotta Blueberry Pancakes, Buttermilk Fried Mary’s Chicken, Pan Roasted Diver Scallops and so much more! This is probably one of the best brunch deals in Phoenix right now ($46!) and that includes a mimosa, tapas, a brunch entree and accesses to a dessert bar with the cutest cakes and pastries. And of course the beautiful setting is priceless. Swipe to see the desserts! 👉🏻
Nothing I love more than spending a lazy Sunday drinking coffee, reading, and binging on dark, disturbing documentaries. (Feel-good movies aren’t my thing)🎬What are your favorite docs?
These are some of mine: Mommy Dead and Dearest, Blackfish, Weiner, The Cove, Capturing the Friedmans, The Imposter, The Wolfpack, Going Clear, Code Black, Tickled, The Keepers, Amy, Into the Abyss, Sour Grapes
Although I get to take a lot of good photos when I'm on vacation, travelling for me is not just about jetting off to beautiful places. For me, the magic happens when I get to stay in a place long enough to gain insight and understanding. It requires a lot of willpower, especially in destinations where there are just too many things to see and do. But I would rather wander in one town, in one city, rather than punish myself with a hectic schedule of must-see tourist spots.

If you're at the Grampians National Park, set time aside for the Balconies. A 12km, 20-30 minute uphill drive away from Halls Gap, the Balconies are a *must* visit for an ultimate photographic opportunity. This spot was once known as the 'Jaws of Death'. To get there, take the exit to Reeds Lookout. Reeds Lookout itself is a great photo opp for great panoramas of the lush and breath-taking mountain surrounds.
The Balconies are a gentle walk way from Reeds Lookout - some 2km though. There are plenty of spots along the first km to take photos, so do allocate time for this. Be prepared and wear shoes and bring a torchlight. You'll be walking 2km back in the dark if you stay for sunset.
It's a superb spot for sunset - bring your tripods! It's a brilliant place to do time-lapse videos too. Here, you get amazing views of the Victoria Range and valley to the south. To the north, there's Lake Wartook and Mount Difficult. With the right cloud conditions, you get to witness a dynamic cloud dance whilst the sun sets into a school bursting full of pink, on others, you'll see storm clouds building - nevertheless it's still a spectacle.

Over the past few weeks, I've been wanting to change my blog layout, but I wasn't finding the time to do it. Well finally this week, I sat down to make the changes and I am proud to say it's finally done! So if you haven't checked put the blog yet, do so now and let me know what you all think! ---------------------------------------------------------------
BTW, if you're wondering about this photo, I took it during one of my Christmas trips to Germany. That's why you see the top of the tents with stars. 😀

Spring is my favourite season. The rush of colours everywhere brings in a new wave of freshness, happiness and creativity ❤️ What is your favourite time of the year?
Seeing a rainbow in Berlin was kinda perfect. Not only was the weather that amazing the week I was here; but also it’s a nice reminder that all things come with ups and downs - and that’s the beauty of it. Travelling long term isn’t always easy and you don’t always meet the best people on the road but the fact that you might just have the greatest time the next day is worth the adventure.
Once a speepy tropical backwater far removed from any mainland or mainstream, Havelock Island is fast hurtling towards tourism-led commercialization, with jet skis outnumbering buffaloes. While much of this Andaman Island now feels more like Goa or Phuket in peak season, pockets of the old Havelock still remain in places like Kala Patthar Beach, where dirftwood washed ashore by the 2004 Tsunami still stands sentinel over powdery white sand, scurrying crabs, densest rainforests, calming sunsets, and the odd introspective local.
I fell in love with these faces...gorgeous details in the Maria Laach Abbey. It’s the little things that count.
April’s been a busy month so far, with deadlines and lots of visitors - but I love it when friends and family come to visit us in NYC. When you live here, New York City can sometimes be frustrating, but re-visiting iconic landmarks and well-known tourist spots works to rekindle my love affair with the ‘Big Apple.’ Whether it’s marveling at the skyline or dining somewhere iconic (hello, drinks at the Plaza!), it’s these “only-in-NYC” moments that remind me how incredible this crazy city really is. 🍎 #KatieSeesTheStates
Dino and his family have been handcrafting leather goods in Rufino, Italy for 45 years. He is putting the finishing stamp on our ostrich, crocodile and Iguana credit card holders. Isn’t he adorable? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We love travel just as much as you do! In fact, that’s where the inspiration behind our company started. Urbane, means “Cultured” and Sky is short for “Skylar,” the daughter that encouraged me to marry my love of traveling the world with shopping. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now, I shop the globe for highly curated items, as well as produce small batches of private label items for our shop.
It’s just me doing the traveling these days. (I’m Venece, btw. 👋🏾) Skylar is wrapping up her sophomore year of college at UW-Madison - balancing school, work and, I’m sure, the “occasional party.” 😂💁🏽
