This apple, carrot and spice kombucha gives me every ounce of fall in my mouth from a PSL to fall soups to Pumpkin painting and even Turkey 🦃 Day! I don’t want fall to end (and it just began)! Don’t get me wrong Christmas 🎄 is my favorite season (yes it’s a season separate from the late Dec.- late Mar. season called “winter”), but Christmas Season (11/1-1/11) can be so rushed and busy. I love how low-key my schedule is and everyone else’s schedule is this time of year. And this Kombucha tastes like happy times 💖😊🌿 also... this brand is the only one I drink for ingredients and integrity purpose 👌 Find yaaaself some of this @ Trader Joe’s for $2.99 🙌
And this is 'Connie Boswell' (selected from a 1985 cross of Begonia palmata x B. diadema) a sibling of 'Little Brother Montgomery' a plant I showed last week. There is talk online of slight hardiness...
Is it just me or is greenery even more beautiful after it rains?!

They say if you want to be happy in life, you should create a garden. Over the last few years I’ve done just that, beginning with a pathway that leads you there. It’s proved to be a suitable entryway to the garden and the world of gardening that has taken me on a horticultural journey far beyond the small perimeter of this suburban plot. I’ve made many mistakes along the way, but I have learned a lot as a result. What’s been the most important lesson thus far? Right plant, right place. This is primarily a dry shade garden, with one small hot spot. Roses will not thrive in this garden. Trust me, I know. With limited hours of sunshine, they just won’t bloom the way they should. Besides, the deer from the neighboring woodland will devour them in short order. So I’ve learned to adjust to the soothing palate of green and the many shades it offers within the color spectrum. The result has been pleasantly surprising, with foliage becoming the unsuspecting star and manifesting itself in many different shapes and forms in this small green space. Here’s a then-and-now retrospective from 2015 to 2018. #happygardening #gardeninglife #garden #gardening #plants #flowers #nature #leaves #foliage #petals #bees #butterflies #green #color #fall #summer #spring #winter #seasons #style #gardenstyle #virginia #ilovegardening #happygardener #gardenersworld #finegardening #huntingbrook
