We recently had a hotel night! It was much needed and appreciated.
We have gone fairly long stretches, even a week or more, doing what many consider "dry camping" or "boondocking." What that means is that during those times, we live strictly off of just the camper, with no hookups. No electricity. No steady flow of water from a hose/spout.
We have a fairly small generator that we use to charge our electronic devices, and we also have propane and batteries that help fun various things (fridge, heat/air, stove, water heater). We also have water tanks, that we can fill up, to have water for the sinks, toilet, and shower.
This is all fine and dandy, and awesome to be able to live without NEEDING electricity, or hookups of any kind.
However, sometimes...an overnight in a hotel is just what we need. It gives us a change of scenery, relaxation, often times a pool....and this last time, we stayed at Drury and we got popcorn and soda whenever we wanted it, a pool, a hot tub, laundry services, dinner, and breakfast.
It sure was niiiiicccee! 😅
It's the little things people! ▶Do you think you could live off the grid, and not have electricity for an extended time? How about hotels...do you love them too? Which is your favorite to go to?◀
