Hoy hemos tenido menos tiempo para preparar la comida y hemos optado por algo fácil y sencillo.
En estos casos vienen genial: ➡️Las Ensaladas (lechuga, escarola, legumbre, cereal, fruta...) ➡️Verduras congeladas salteadas con ajo, salsa de soja, Romero, orégano... ➡️ Como siempre os digo no está de más dejar algo de comida congelada como hamburguesas que nos salven en situaciones que no tengamos tiempo para cocinar
En lo que no debemos caer es en comprar ultraprocesados o llamar a restaurantes de comida rápida o basura. ¿Qué soléis comer vosotras cuando no tienes tiempo de cocinar?

One of my absolute favourite dishes that I hadn't had in a very, very long time that we made when mum was here: stir fried garlic chives with squid. Very basic stir fried flavoured with oyster sauce, fish sauce and seasoning powder. Don't know why I went for so long without making this. My other favourite version is made with pork liver. #eatallthehomecooking
It’s bean juice brownie time!! The fantastically fudgy brownies adapted from the @frieddandelions recipe. What better way to deal with the fact that our govt can’t get it’s sh- together than with brownies?! In fact, Z asked me if we could make some yesterday and I told him we would “soon,” which was code for “I will make them alone so you don’t see what I’m putting in!” These are extra awesome because I used the aquafaba/bean juice from a batch of black beans I cooked in the crockpot. Leftover Rice Pudding
I have a tendency to cook more rice than anyone will eat. Making Leftover Rice Pudding is my favorite thing to do with extra rice.
2 cups cooked rice
2 1/2 cups whole milk
2 1/2 cups half-and-half
2/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Bring milk, half-and-half, sugar, and cooked rice to a boil. Simmer for 30 minutes uncovered stirring regularly. Reduce heat to low, cook for 15 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and cinnamon. Pour rice pudding into ramekins and chill. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve.
