in Downtown Schenectady and picked up this amazing Traditional Açaí Bowl. This bowl consists of Açaí frozen puree, sliced banana, strawberries, shaved coconut and organic granola. This bowl is filling, refreshing, flavorful and full of rich nutrients. Now I have the proper fuel to take on the rest of the day. Watch out! 😄 ~~~~~~~~~~~~

RECIPE BELOW👇 Now that it's winter I feel like it's time to start cooking a load of soups and stews! This butterbean & vegetable soup was delicious!! (Serves 4)
1 celery stick, sliced
2 carrots, sliced
1 leek, trimmed & sliced
2 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp chopped rosemary
600ml veggie stock
1 X 400g can chopped tomatoes
1 X 400g can butter beans, drained
Fry the celery, carrots, leek and paprika over a medium heat for 3-4 mins. Pour over the stock and tomatoes then add the butter beans and rosemary. Bring to the boil then cover and simmer for 15 mins.

I’m not sure how there has only been one sushi post featured on Hangry Habits so far considering it is another one of my favourite foods. My apologies🙃 Here is another one of my favourite sushi spots, Mi•Ne Sushi, located in Richmond Hill. The photographed rolls are the SS dragon & the Orangeville roll, with a side of butterfish sashimi. The SS dragon is shrimp tempura, avocado, cucumber and tobiko, wrapped in fresh salmon and scallop. The Orangeville roll is spicy scallop, tobiko, avocado, cucumber and crab meat wrapped with fresh salmon. The lobster rolls & lobster tempura are also must-haves here. They have THE BEST spicy salmon I have ever tried... AND I’m HOOKED on the crabmeat salad thanks to my sister. It is a mixture of fresh crab meat, avocado, mayo & tempura bits😍 Oh em gee.. I’m craving this right now😍 Who’s coming with?!

Eine türkische Süßspeise, die die Mama einer meiner liebsten Freundinnen zubereitet hat. Eine Köstlichkeit, die mich wehmütig an meine Türkei-Aufenthalte bei meiner Babaanne erinnern lässt. Immer wenn ich sie besuchte, kam ihre beste Freundin zu Besuch und brachte uns einen großen Topf mit Aşüre. Diese Tradition hielt sie bis zu ihrem Tode, der sie leider viel zu früh ereilte und meiner Babaanne damals das Herz brach. Von da an aßen wir niemals wieder gemeinsam diese Nachspeise. Um so mehr genieße ich sie in diesen Tagen ganz besonders und erinnere mich gerne an die innige Freundschaft dieser beider Frauen. ❤️ Ellerine sağlık, sevgili Esma hanım! 😋

🌟 My sister gave me three different sizes in this gorgeous blue color, she’s the best! I used it for my pink smoothie bowl the other day, made with frozen berries, banana and oat milk and topped it with more banana, coconut flakes, chia seeds, my favorite @ikwilbolletje

Zucchini: spiralized, in a frying pan w olive oil, salt, pepper, pesto, garlic, onion, sundried tomatoes, sun dried tomatoe oil 15 mins
This is such a bad pic but these pancakes are bomb 😍 banana oat pancakes 🥞🍌 I topped with chia and maple syrup. Literally sooooo good and I’ve been making them so much. recipe creds from amindfullmom.com!!! Ingredients:
1 cup of oats
1/2 cup almond milk
1 banana (or 2)
1 tspn baking powder
1 tspn vanilla
Shake of cinnamon
Simply combine everything in a blender and blend for a few seconds. Heat pan w oil and cook till bubbles form and flip!!!! You could deff omit the egg if you wanted a vegan version

‼️ Smokey ham, scrambled egg and white cheddar on a pressed ciabatta. The sandwiches from here are excellent whether it be breakfast or lunch. They also help support people affected by Autism. They have support from many, including myself. Come to Downtown Schenectady and 🛑 inside! ~~~~~~~~~~

RECIPE BELOW👇 had such a productive day today💃 Spent the morning cooking and meal prepping for the week, did some uni work then went to the gym! This vegan lentil, cauliflower and potato pie was one of the meals I cooked -
1 onion, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
1 leek, trimmed and sliced
2 celery sticks, sliced
600ml almond milk
175g puy lentils
750g potatoes, cut into chunks
1 medium cauliflower, cut into chunks
2 tbsp grainy mustard
2 tbsp dairy-free spread
Fry the onion, leek, carrots and celery for 5 mins. Pour in the milk and bring to a simmer. Add the lentils, cover and cook for 30 mins. Transfer to a pie dish. Boil the potatoes for 8 mins, add the cauliflower and cook for a further 10 mins. Drain then mash, adding the mustard and spread. Spoon the mash over the filling and bake for 45 mins at 190 degrees.
The easiest berry protein shake - I just mixed a few handfuls of Tesco's summer fruits mix with a scoop of vanilla protein powder and some almond milk🍓🍓🍓
RECIPE BELOW👇 it's been so easy to enjoy healthy meals at uni as every time I cook something I have about 6 portions that I can freeze or eat throughout the week! This is a vegan red pepper and lentil stew -
200g puy lentils, rinsed
3 peppers, chopped
2 onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tbsp cajun spice mix
1 X 400ml tin coconut milk
250ml veggie stock
3 tbsp tomato puree
Cook the lentils in boiling water for 20 mins. Meanwhile, fry the peppers, onion and garlic in a little oil. Add the spice, coconut milk, stock and tomato puree. Drain the lentils and add them to the pan. Cook for 15 mins.
Chicken curry recipe🍛
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp fresh ginger
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp tumeric
1 tsp chilli powder
1 1/2 cups crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup almond milk
2 chicken breasts, chopped into pieces
Heat some oil over medium heat and cook the onion and garlic. Add the spices, milk, yoghurt and tomatoes and simmer for 10 mins. Add the chicken and cook for 15 mins then serve with rice
