I thought to share this video of how i make my plantain swallow, found this method online a while back and it has been my go to. Some people have given up swallow n other yummy foods because they are trying to lose weight, now they are feeling deprived, unhappy and depressed like it is a punishment. Food is not the enemy, how you eat, when you eat and portion is the issue. From my food post you will know i eat all classes of food even though some still argue that i am misleading when i post my yam n oil, eba, fufu etc. Note: you can use unripe plantain if you like it to look darker, pls do tag and share if you tried this and liked it
You asked for it, you got it! 💚 My favourite protein ball recipe! If you try it, please let me know what you think!! Ingredients * 250 grams raw almonds or almond meal * 12 medjool dates * 60 grams protein powder (I use a vanilla whey) * 1.5 tablespoons cocoa powder * 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon * 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract * 2-3 tablespoons water * Desicated coconut, cocoa powder or crushed nuts (optional - just to coat the ball) Instructions 1. Blend almonds in a food processor until finely ground. (Skip this step if using meal) 2. Add all other ingredients (half of water first) and mix until it starts to come together. Add the rest of the water if the mixture is too dry. 3. Using a tablespoon, scoop out the mixture and shape into bite sized balls with your hands, packing the mixture together firmly. 4. This amount made 12 balls for me. 5. Happy Friday!! Spending this weekend baking and trying to get a lot of work stuff done for next week! Anyone have anything fun planned this weekend? For lunch had this amazing kale salad that is so simple and easy 😋 ~dEATS~ Couple large handfuls of kale EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) 1-2 Tbs @braggsacvhealth Apple cider vinegar (ACV) 1/2 lemon juice 1/4 cup pine nuts Shredded Parmesan 1 @traderjoeslist roasted garlic chicken sausage Spiced roasted butternut squash . ~Directions~ I massaged the kale with EVOO, ACV, and lemon juice and set that aside for about 15 minutes. In the mean time I toasted the pine nuts till brown and added that to the kale. Add the Parm at the same time so it melts nicely. Cooked the sausage and added that and the squash to that. Hellooo ihr Lieben! Ich melde mich auch mal wieder mit einem Post. Last night I made my favourite protein balls, I’ve tried lots of different combinations but always go back to this one. Happy Thursday!! As usual I was craving oatmeal so I made some overnight oats for this morning! I kept it super simple and easy for the frigid morning! NY is back to negative degrees 😅 ~dEATS~ 1/2 cup rolled oats 1/2 mashed banana 1 cup unsweetened vanilla coconut milk 1 Tbs chia seeds 1-2Tbs @siggisdairy vanilla yogurt 1 scoop @vitalproteins collagen (optional) Dash of vanilla extract 1-2 Tsp cinnamon Pinch of sea salt Toppings: Raspberries Blueberries Honey roasted almond butter ~Directions~ Mix all the ingredients till it’s all combined and throw it in the fridge! I’m guilty of opening my other almond butter and this one is amazing. I give it a 11/10 😋😋 Hope everyone has a great day! #runningonavocados

Aber nun zu meiner #kuchenimglas Kreation von heute morgen 🥛🎂✌🏼 ich fand es eine ganz süße Sache, vor allem vielleicht sogar als kleine #geschenkideen 🎁🎂 (Werbung 👇🏼) . Für 3 kleine Gläser 🥛 🔸 60 g #haferflocken @koelln_deutschland 🔸 60 g Zimterella @oatsome.de 🔸 2 Eier 🔸 2 Bananen 🔸 50 g Blaubeeren 🔸 Haselnuss Splitter für oben drauf 👉🏼bis auf die Blaubeeren alles gut pürieren, schichtweise zusammen mit den Beeren in die Gläschen füllen. Bei 175 Grad ca. 20 min in den Ofen, Stäbchenprobe 👋🏼 und Zack #yummy 😍 .
