SATURDAY you are my favorite ❤️ —
some days I wake up at 6 and workout, other days (hello this morning) I sleep till 11 & drink your coffee + #optigreens50
& stay in my pj’s all day ✌🏼 so here’s some French Toast so hopefully you can have an amazing Saturday too 🤤 —
I always try & start the morning with something with at least 15g of protein, so I can switch back to fat burning (aka anabolic) from fat storing (aka catabolic) when I wake up 🔥 so try this recipe & let me know what ya think 🤤 —
the ingredients 👇🏼
1. two slices @foodforlifebaking
2. half a cup egg whites
3. 1 egg 🥚
4. sprinkle of cocoa + cinnamon —
the method 👇🏼
1. mix the egg whites + egg + cocoa + cinnamon
2. let the bread 🍞 soak up the egg mix (for like 5 minutes)
3. toss the bread in a pan for 4ish minutes on each side on medium heat
4. top it with your favorite toppings —

1. powdered peanut butter (instead of syrup)
2. frozen blueberries —

I'm really not one for wasting things and we had the sausages and burger buns left over from a barbeque at my mum's a few weeks ago so they are not what I would typically have in my freezer.
At least I'll learn from this and will know for again...and that's all we can do - gather information that allows us to make informed decisions.
Aside from the calories I really enjoyed my breakfast so not going to let myself feel too guilty either! Onward and upward!
Delicadeza sem culpa: COOKIES AMANTEIGADOS LIGHT ! Facílimo de fazer! .
🌾•100g de manteiga sem sal ou ghee
🌾•150g de aveia em flocos
🌾•100g de farinha de castanha de caju (ou de amêndoas)
🌾• 60g de adoçante culinário . Eu uso @stevitaoficial
que não deixa sabor residual.
🌾•Pitada de sal
🌾•Canela em pó a gosto
🌾•Gotas de chocolate 70%
🌾•1/2 colher de café de bicarbonato de sódio .
. 》》》》Misture todos os ingredientes e faça bolinhas na forma que vai assar. Amasse com a mão e deixe em formato de cookies. Coloquei apenas 1 pedacinho de chocolate 70% por cookie, pq infelizmente eu tinha muito pouco chocolate 😣😓 Mas vc pode colocar mais. Ou só por cima ou por toda a massa. Pode usar tb no lugar do chocolate, pedaços de amêndoas, amendoim, pedacinhos de goiabada, passas..... .
Leve ao forno médio pré aquecido até começar a dourar. Ficam incríveis!
Homemade pizza night!! Naan bread, a pesto sause instead of tomato sause, fresh green onions, olives, fire roasted red pepper, mozzarella cheese and grilled chicken!! This pizza is so good, it'll make you jump up and slap the Hell out of somebody!! Lol
Spinach and Lentil Chilli with Barley and Corn. Cashew Ranch on the side. Whole Food Plant Based (no oil). Eat plants. Work out. Be fit.

I want results but I don’t want to give up beer. 🍺
This is no great problem. in actual fact if you do enjoy a drink, being told you cannot have one is probably the worse thing to be told!
If your going to have a beer or glass of wine with a meal (or two), look to eat lighter through the day and or up your.
This could be achieved by focusing on a meat and vegetable based lunch. By removing extra carbs and fats you could make room for the extra liquid calories.
Making room for a night when your going “out out” would be achieved in a similar way. You may need to create more of a definite depending on how excited you can get on the source!!
Keeping to light beers, wine or spirits with calorie free mixers will also help.
The biggest impact on calorie load from a night out may not actually be the drink but what comes with it. Avoiding the pizza, chips and other takeaway junk will help no end. .
Having some water during the evening and when you get home is also a good option.
Making sure you have good food choices pre-prepped and ready for the following day would also be a good idea.
This may take the edge off the urge for a emergency McDonald’s drive through when your only good for sofa surfing!

There's porridge under all those cinnamon apple slices 😍NGL this was yesterday's breakfast but the flavour is so fckn good I can't wait to have it after the gym today! 🍎
Handful of porridge oats, enough almond milk to cover them (I like to leave mine to soak for about an hour!) then, dice an apple up, put on top of the porridge, cover in cinnamon and microwave for 1 min 30 seconds! Sometimes I like to sprinkle stevia on top bc it tastes like apple pie 😍
I'm really trying to focus on improving my diet because I train hard, but eat like a 5 year old at a birthday party when I'm bored & im over it

Chicken curry... cook chicken in a deep pan, with garlic & curry powder (to taste) add onions & peppers, cook until softened a little, add tomato purée, tinned tomatoes & chicken stock, and cook until thickened! Tonight I chucked some spinach in too as I had some left! 😋❤️
This evening I've been kind of a bad mom. I'm very exhausted after a long and nervous working day. So tired, that I even couldn't reach the grocery store to refil my stocks. As a result we had a defrosted sous-vide tuna and a cherry tomatoe salad. As for me, i spoiled myself with local pale ale craft beer. @malkabeer

At school I was a huge fan of home economics, (a cooking class but with stupid name)even though the teacher “Mrs Williamson “was scary as hell!
Unfortunately every single darn thing I made was an absolute mess by the time I got home nothing like a bike ride to trash your culinary delights!.
At those early times in my life I had a lot more patience for faffing in the kitchen than I do now. I think crumble and making a pizza from scratch were 2 of my specialities.
If you’ve been watching my story you’ll notice a theme in my cooking it’s nothing fancy just perfectly functional food that most of the time tastes pretty good (there's the odd curveball).
I’m all about lazy healthy cooking.
You might think eating healthy has to be complicated, when in actual fact nothing could be further from the truth.
Base everything around a basic formula of mainly protein and veg, have a serving of starchy carbs if you like & a splattering in some fat.
The meal ideas here can all be prepped or at part prepped the night before but they don’t take more than 10 minutes max anyway 😍
😘If breakfast isn't your thing so long as it doesn't cause you to over eat later in a "hunger frenzy" then don't eat it.
-Tonnes of folks use the intermittent fasting protocol (just a time limited way of eating not a magic solution) very successfully and one way to do it is not to eat breakfast.
