I started this account because a friend convinced me it was great idea, I've always been a foodie and this seemed like a good platform to share my latest addicitons.
Like everything else in life, food is so much about balance. I eat when I'm hungry and I listen to my body. I fuel myself with food that makes me feel good and sometimes, I eat things that make me feel like shit, but don't we all? Eating to me is such a big part of my world and since I've been celiac for 21 years, I guess I've had to always be conscious of what I've eaten.
When I was younger, I used to get ill a lot, I would miss lots of school and my body would never recover like everyone else! 4 years ago, I made some life choices to start working out 4/5 days a week and eat as much greens as I could. I've never felt better and I've never been healthier. I find I fight illnesses quicker and I have more trust in my body. I believe that my body can fight anything with proper nutrients and a conscious mind. I know that eating well and thinking about what you eat seems annoying, but you have ONE body and the way you treat it is the most important thing. Ask anyone who has had a health scare, they will remind you that when your life is potentially at risk, you realize that health is truly the most important thing in your life. #glutenfree #foodforthought #vegan #celiacdisease #healthythoughts
