December is always such a festive month and I absolutely love it! It definitely is my favorite month of the year ❤️ Since Christmas is approaching, I though I’d make a super easy breakfast recipe that reminded me of the festivities 🥳
1.5 ripe spotty frozen banana
1/2 cup chopped cooked frozen pumpkin
1/4 cup coconut cream
1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
a tiny pinch of nutmeg
3 heaping spoons of cacao powder from @lvl.life
I used some of my December favorites but anything will taste as yummy 😋
1 vegan Banana Doughnut from @lecrumbs
a sprinkle of Caramelized Cacao Nibs and Cashews from @pipiltincocoa
This morning as I was arranging my pumpkin seeds into flowers on my oats I was thinking about the old saying our parents used to tell us as kids “don’t play with your food” and the fact that I do just that every day now 🤔 And honestly it is quite fun...🤷🏼♀️ Cons: my meals are always luke warm BUT Pros: I never burn my tongue AND it looks pretty😁
Now about these oats 👉🏻 I mixed 1/3 cup rolled oats with 2/3 cup almond milk, 1/2 mashed banana and a dash of cinnamon. Stirred and heated up@for
2 mins than topped with the other half of my banana, sliced strawberries, pomegranate, pumpkin and chia seeds. 🍌🍓
