If you love soft boiled like me, then here's your guide to perfect those babies! . . How Long To Boil PERFECT Eggs?! - For soft-boiled eggs: 4 minutes - For slightly soft-boiled eggs: 5 minutes - For custardy yet firm soft-boiled eggs: 6 minutes - For creamy hard-boiled eggs: 7 minutes - For firm yet still creamy hard-boiled eggs: 8 minutes - For very firm hard boiled eggs: 9 minutes / . . . makes 2 servings Ingredients: 2 slices of rye, or Ezekiel bread lightly toasted 1 large avocado, mashed a small bunch of cilantro or parsley, finely chopped 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice 1 fresh ripe tomato, diced 1 green onion, sliced 2 radishes, finely sliced 2 large, free range eggs sea salt and fresh ground black pepper, to your taste Instructions: Fill a small saucepan with water, and bring it to the boil first. I pretty much only ate pizza all weekend and I don't even feel some type of way about it. 🍕 I do, however, know what my body needs to continue working and functioning at it's best and unfortunately, I may have to rotate pizza out for a couple of meals. Managed to do some deadlifts today which was pretty exciting. Hurt my back exactly a week ago so I'm happy with the recovery rate. Was just a muscle thing, so kept deadlifts light. AND I swapped out all my big lifts this week to more lower back friendly variants. Still loving @jdgyms so I'll be keeping that membership going. I also checked out @xercise4less today for when I start my job in the city centre which looked like a winner as well. I'll be able to walk there after / before work. Decent!👌🏼 . Ooh, also, I'm editing the London Food Trip videos - pretty excited to get these out!🙂 . Anyway, check this bowl out! Smashed this for breakfast at the weekend. I wanted to enjoy my morning and start the day off on a good note ☺️💕 Happy Monday friends, hope you started your day off right! 🙌 HEMP SEED DATE BARS • 3/4 cup hemp seeds • 5 dates • 1 tbsp honey/maple syrup - In a food processor, blend seeds and dates into a crumbly mixture, then add in honey and blend until combined (be careful not to overblend) - Add on desired toppings: I drizzled melted chocolate, goji berries, and coconut flakes 😍 p.s. I'm glad my polish lasted long enough to get in a good pic, I should really do my nails more often 😆

About 6 weeks ago I got some news that would rock my world a little bit. Fine, a lot a bit. My son has been going to the chiropractor since he was 8 weeks old. It’s been the biggest blessing and one we’ve paid for out of pocket to see the best pediatric (and everyone) chiropractor that I’ve ever met. Truly a genuine person who is knowledgeable beyond what we can imagine. Hubby and I decided that investing is US finally was super important and I feel has changed our overall health recently over the course of our weeks going. One thing I found out though from my x-rays is why my back hurts particularly bad in one spot during many day to day activities, sometimes during sleep, and has limited my overall ability to perform all workout moves but usually I modify right before the pain and keep going. I’m kind of tough I think and after getting the news I have a FRACTURED BACK, others agreed too. I’m a level one on a scale of four and the only curable thing is surgery. I don’t ever have to though (unless I have to...if that makes sense) because I have been able to over the course of time keep strong (muscles, ligaments, all of the supporting tissues) with my workouts 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 She said there is no way I should have been able to have a healthy pregnancy, deliver naturally, and have back labor the majority of the time unless I’d kept my body strong. Exercise is amazing and this morning as I ramped up my workouts, kicked my own rear, and loved the intensity I couldn’t help but to be thankful for my at home gym with little equipment and my desire to feel my best thus pushing play daily prior to, during, and after pregnancy. Our bodies are miraculous things, care for yours today! I’m always here to chat. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love @wholefoodsuk - mainly for the opp to make and eat great lunches like this, but also for the free tasters of some of their yummy goods! I had a weigh-in with my therapist today and I've gained, unsurprisingly. What I was surprised by was how chilled I felt about it and how easy it was after the appt to fight down Ana when it came to having some deep-fried Mongolian food with a friend (not pictured) - and even then having this lunch box to follow! I'm continually reminding myself that I'm worth loving and my brain and body are worth nourishing and energising. 🍄 Why do mushrooms get invited to all the vegetable parties? Because they are such a FUNgi 🍄 🤣 just me in my normal habitat laughing with my veggies. . . Even though nowadays I’m bff with mah veggies, I remember when I wasn’t confident about the food decisions I was making, or when I kept trying diet plans that weren’t designed for myself and would cause me so much frustration. I didn’t feel good in my clothes nor I had the energy I have nowadays 🤗 . . Now, why do I care so much about weight loss? Because simply losing 5-15% of your weight can reduce your risks of CHRONIC conditions and highly improve your overall health. I absolutely agree that you SHOULD love YOURSELF NO MATTER WHAT! However, since when feeding chemically modified foods and shoving 3,000 calories down our throats good? I don’t think that’s showing my body love but opposite, doing that, you are disrespecting your body. . . I LOVE MY #BODY and myself SO MUCH that I want to treat it well and feed it well. What that means to me? It’s not just #nutrition or just exercise! It’s controlling my stress, getting enough sleep, walking away from toxic people & situations and only worrying about things that I CAN control 💛 I know it seems like a lot, but I promise you after you start to figure out the first pieces of the puzzle, the rest will just start to fit and that’s what I am here for- I AM HERE FOR YOU.
