Pesticides in our produce is a real thing - there is strong correlative evidence showing the negative and cancerous effects these chemicals have on our bodies. Sadly, not all produce is “healthy” anymore 🤷🏼♂️
I’m not saying the foods on the left are off limits - Buying certified organic a lot of the time can ensure your cellular safety 🍐🍅🌶🍒🍆🥑🍓

My face when everyone starts talking about NUTRITION CHALLENGES
I absolutely HATE challenges!
I truly do. Do you want to know why???? They have an end date. They give you a false sense of hope that there is a short period of time in which you can reach your goals.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but when was the last time you did a challenge & kept the results you saw during that time frame?
Yeah, I didn’t think so.
Advocare 24 Day Challenge… What the hell happens on day 25?? Whole 30 Challenge… Are you still hanging on on day 40??? Even the religious season of Lent!! Don’t get me wrong. I’m a religious person, but this season has been turned into a diet challenge! Do you give up chocolate/ beer/whatever else for 40 days & 40 nights only to binge on them the second the clock strikes 12:01 on Easter morning?? Why is it that you think miracles can happen in that time frame & that you will undo everything it took months, if not years, to happen??? You didn’t gain 30 pounds in 30 days so do you truly feel it’s possible to lose 30 in 30… and keep it off??? Why are you only willing to put 30 days of effort into yourself?
SURE, you could do some crazy, starvation, liquid only, poverty macros “diet” for 30 days, but does that really sound fun?
Don’t lie! Of COURSE it doesn’t!
Tossing your entire life upside down isn't sustainable long term.
Getting healthy is a process! And for every single individual it’s a different process and it takes a different length of time and it HAS to take into consideration the individual and their life and their history and their training and their stresses and NO it will not take 24 days or 30 days or sometimes even 120 days.

Sunday is meal prep day in our house. We like to batch cook our meals so we can grab and go as we please throughout the week. Some people can stand leftovers but I live off them! .
It takes us less than an hour to get all our food cooked for the week. We keep things simple and easy which means there is less waste from groceries going bad and there is little decision making. Does it get a little boring? Sometimes, but we choose this way to eliminate one more decision we have to make. .
Don't get me wrong we do have food that we can substitute out in our freezer if we want something different. We have a lot of staple items in our pantry to make quick and easy on the go meals if needed. The key is convenience and choosing to make healthy choices. .
