Fish and Chips by @thetorfin.
The quest to find the best Fish and Chips goes on. Where should I go next?
Picked the apples myself ☺
Looks good, doesn't it... right before I burned it in the oven 😂
Because sometimes we deserve a little treat 😋
Today's special. Arugula, Cured Olive and Goat Cheese Salad. Tossed in a strawberry, blueberry basil and mint dressing. Topped with Foccacia Croutons and Pickled Red Onion

pesto pasta looking more like shrek’s swamp but still tasted really good! fried up some mushrooms, red onion, chicken breast and spinach before adding a tablespoon of pesto then mixing it into some cooked wholewheat pasta and a couple of tablespoons of fat free quark to make it a bit creamier🏋🏽♀️🍃

Peanut butter energy balls: Two ways
Snacking is HARD on the Low Fodmap diet, you have to be prepared! These little chaps are a life line. They last for ages (a week or so) and fix any potential hanger issues in seconds! Here’s two verities to keep it interesting, both as easy peasy as each other. Let us know which you prefer!??
⚡️OMF top tip⚡️ find a peanut butter that you love and splash out on it! There’s plenty to choose from these days and they’re all different :)
After we recorded this video we realised that the first variety tastes incredible if you cover them in molten chocolate and store them in the fridge! FYI.
Rice Krispies energy balls
Peanut butter - 1/2 cup
Maple syrup - 3 tbsp
Coconut oil - 1/2 tbsp melted
Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
Rice Krispies - 1 cup
Dark chocolate - 1/2 cup
Salt flakes (optional)
Mix all the ingredients except or the chocolate and salt together in a bowl. Use a spoon to make balls onto a plate then refrigerate them for 30mins - 1hr. When hard coat the balls in molten dark chocolate, sprinkle a little salt on them and pop them back in the fridge to harden. Store them there until they’re all gone!
Oats energy balls
Peanut butter - 1/2 cup
Oats - 1 cup
Dark chocolate - 1/3 cup grated
Maple syrup - 1/3 cup
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Macadamia nuts - 1/4 cup roasted
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Roll into balls using the palms of your hands. Store in the fridge alongside the others!
Celebrating National Ice cream day with Joe’s Italian Ice 🤗🎉 ……….......................................................................... Strawberries & Cream JoeLatti (layered italian ice & vanilla soft serve) 🍓🍦
Tastes just like strawberry milk! Almost like the nesquik one but with a slight tanginess & fresh strawberry flavor. (ps peep my model friend in the back 😂) #icecream #ice #italian #softserve #strawberry #strawberries #fruit #dessert #nationalicecreamday #vans
I went to the beach this weekend as a last hoorah with my roommates before we move out of our house after 2.5 years together. I wanted to talk about the food conundrum many people face on vacation. There’s the desire to be “free” and eat whatever you want but also the certainty that you’ll feel bad if you eat certain things...and is it worth it to go nuts and eat gluten or whatever it it’s gonna make you sick? Will you feel like you’re truly on vacation if you’re eating salads at every restaurant? For me, this is a “thing” that’s gotten so much easier over the years. I think one reason is experience and getting used to saying no and the other is that I’ve started not looking at food OTHER people eat as a way for me to feel like I’m celebrating. I still use food to celebrate but I don’t go by someone else’s metrics. I have looked forward to drinking a pine colada for a month and I sucked down every last drop of that sugary food coloring. But I avoided gluten because I had already eaten some this week and I heard my body telling me to slow down. I don’t even think it’s a matter of “balance” because I DO think there’s a time and place for abundance with food—not gluttony, but abundance. I didn’t eat salads this weekend as a balance to all the car snacks like chips and sweet drinks. I ate them because they make me feel good and I like feeling good and because the other options of what to eat would have made me feel sick. I didn’t feel like I was “missing out” for half a second because—and this is key—this isn’t the only opportunity I’ll ever have in life to enjoy food. I can enjoy a vegan gluten free treat at home. I don’t HAVE to eat the exciting food RIGHT THIS SECOND. The impulsivity has waned over the years as the reasonable part of my brain has helped me understand what fuels my body best. 4 bites of creamy spinach dip at Bubba Gump’s reminded me why I don’t eat dairy and as I chewed up a digestive enzyme & felt my stomach start to settle again I realized how happy I am to just skip over stuff without feeling entitled to OTHER people’s celebratory food. It’s not about rigidity. If you want cake & it won’t hurt you, eat the cake. It’s about honoring your limits.

Roasted Veggies Round 2! My favorite things in life 😍
We headed over to @slowrichies
at the @brickbreweryse15
this afternoon - their burgers are epic! This is their Beef burger with Honey-Glazed Roast Pork,
Mature Cheddar & Chilli Lime Dressing. They do a great golden beetroot and sweet potato slaw too. The place is so chill, no highchairs that I could see but they’ve got a baby change/space for buggies/outdoor seating and Max was VERY keen on their chips 🍔🍔🍔
OHHH MY, SO YUMMY!!!😍 Made this masterpiece for breakfast! Not gunna lie breakfast has ALWAYS been my favorite meal of the day.🍳
I am OBSESSED with the nutrition program I’m doing. I think about food so much different. &&& I look at my plate like a pie chart!😂 So for breakfast I do:
🐣50% protein = keeps me full
🍠50% carbs = gives me energy
🍅veggies are extra credit!
Now when I’m hungry I think am I really hungry, why am I not staying full, or do I energy? Then I fill it in with veggies, protein, carbs. Curves the way I think about food. Still eating DELISH meals🤤 (obviously haha), but they are easy, & GOOD FOR ME.🧠
I am SO glad I don’t have to count calories, points, macros, or weigh stuff. NOPE!👍🏻 I have learned so much. Do it with me! So yummy & easy! JOIN ME!Just message me or fill out link in my bio if your curious! 🙌🏻👯♀️
I could do with this plate of yumminess right about now! 😋 Smashed avo sourdough, with fresh Brixham Crab and lots of other scrummy goodness! There was so much to this plate, each mouthful was heavenly! 🥑🦀🥗
This hits hard. The feeling I get when I’m around my kind of people is just not here. Anything that reminds me of Chi, I’m holding on to it. ❤️
Have you ever met people, who do not take care of their smartphones energy level? Personally me — no.
Do you know any individuals, who do not take care of their own energy level? I’m sure, you do. I have many acquaintances, who start their day only with a cup of coffee or even without any breakfast at all.
How come that smartphone‘s life is more valuable than your health, your body, your own life?
Turning leftovers into something simple and delicious.☺️
